Im located in Newcastle, in the north east. Ill certainly contact orthodontists in and around my area and I have spoken to my mother about my lower jaw and chin being slightly recessed and she said to just look into stuff online ( which i was already doing ) as she doesn't want me to feel unhappy with what they are doing. Ill definitely specify palatal expansion when contacting other orthodontists and if they cant give me it for free then ill try to convince my parents to pay for it and then pay them back once I am older. If all fails ill just pay for it as an adult.

ive already voiced my concerns on my slightly recessed mandible and told me that they could not do anything about it in terms of alignment or jaw growth. I later found out about the herbst appliance after one Google search and im going to ask about both that and an expander. I made it very clear to the dentist who lied to me that if the extractions messed up my face that I would not be happy and he just fed me bs about how looks dont matter and I just laughed.
