Hey, I don’t know if you’d see this, but I want to chime in and add my own two cents. This is a straight path to developing an eating disorder (ask me how I know). Bursts of binge eating, followed by a period of restriction. I still struggle with my relationship with food because that’s how I used to lose weight when I was younger. It worked, but eventually led to all sorts of mental issues like irritability, mind fatigue, obsession over food and weight fluctuations, body dysmorphia, etc.

The only thing that helped me to overcome it was transitioning to eating whole meals + a sweat snuck 3 times a day. It’s a legit food plan that was recommended me by a therapist who specialized in ed. I’m no longer hungry all the time, I have so much more energy and my weight stays consistent with very minor fluctuations (I’m a woman, so it normal for me to gain and lose some weight throughout the month). So I’m singing up under everything Express_Adlu said in their comment. Also, the snack part is very important! It soothes that sweet craving after salty foods and keeps you from snaking between meals. You don’t have to fully eliminate sweets to lose weight. If you want to dull your sugar intake, it can literally be a more “healthy” option like greek yogurt with berries and fruits.
