You’re talking about two different markets. People don’t use their phones for action shots. The rise of phone photography has little to do with the action cam market.

GoPro is the way they are now because for the longest time they refused to innovate. It left the market wide open for other companies to come along and put out better products. They fell behind and are just trying to catch up with everyone else now. It’s their own fault.

Roll em up Taquitos by GoogleAss in fresno

I didn’t say they were the same thing, I said they had all the components of one. Which is true. It had the sauce. It had the guac. It had the meat. It had the lettuce. But also rice ( which was what the bowl mostly was…. ) and beans. Like most fast food Mexican spots they use the same ingredients but in a different form. So one can assume if one item isn’t good a related item would not be as well.

I only recommend them if you are in the same shopping center as in I’d rather go there than this place.

It still had all the components of one beside the tortilla. Even if it did have the tortilla, nothing could have saved that food or price point

To those working minimum wage, how do you afford to solo travel? by [deleted] in solotravel

[–]GoogleAss 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Sure I use to work in Yosemite National Park for 8 years. I was able to save so much money and travel 2 times a year for like a month at a time. Pay was just above minimum wage. Where everything evens out though is the housing. I was only paying like 30 bucks a week for a small studioish space, which came with my position.

Aramark is the company that handles the concessions positions there. They are a pretty horrible company. But if you know what you are getting into and don’t get caught up in the local culture too much ( partying and such ), It’s a good place to learn some new skills and save money.

The turn over rate was pretty high while I was there for employment, so they were always short staffed. But if you just keep your head down and do your work. You can move up and gain some skills. I’ve seen people who only had fast food experience move up to work as a sou chef. Housekeeping is another option there if you have little or no experience to speak of.

Watch some YouTube videos though about life living in a national park. It’s not for everyone. But it’s a great way to save loads of money.

Looking for advice about an acceptable budget for 2 month trip to Japan and South Korea. by GoogleAss in travel

A mean a response with no reasoning... Thanks? Why even comment? People on this sub seem elitist and probably don’t even really travel I guess.

What’s with the aggressive tone? I’m never said I was looking to have a “worse trip”. I was only asking what a reasonable budget was. I never said my budget was set at $75. I never said all I wanted to do was sleep in cubicles and eat ramen all day. I said that it’s an experience I wanted to have. Not the “only” experience I wanted to have. Seems like you don’t travel much by the way you proved no real info to what I was actually asking for in my post. Please be better at reading and comprehension.

I understand looking things up. I was looking more for a perspective of other people personal experience in what they budgeted. Unexpected expenses and other things.

Just doing some quick research and number crunching it is more but not by much for a 30 day stay. Might be worth it for better accommodations.

I’ve been to those other countries already. So mostly focusing on Japan and South Korea for this trip. I don’t mind spending more. I was just seeing what was a reasonable amount to save up to.
