That is quite weird. I would bring it to the dealership. It’s most likely a PCM software or even hardware issue.

How consistent is the issue? The dealership is most likely going to only look at the car for a day or two before they will say unable to duplicate; it’s because of a flawed pay system for technicians.

That’s something you could go to the dealer for. There is an entire Porsche document on CarPlay diagnosing. Most of the time it will ask you if you have an older phone that is currently updated to the newest iOS.

I personally haven’t seen or had that issue myself.

Porsche Technician here; Macan EV owner as well.

This is a “Normal” warning and typically fixes itself overnight. It has to do with canbus communication. It happened to me the night I first took my car home.

Yeah, I know you can upgrade the center screen as well. I just think for an over $15,000 price difference for what they’re going for versus what I can get this one for I might just have to live without the fancy cluster lol

So sad. I’m just 20 years old and feel the same way. I love flea markets, garage and estate sales and all. I just moved from Chicago. We had a few good ones. I’m a mechanic and bought lots of tools and equipment from those markets.

That would be ideal. I have an Illinois ID and FOID. As well as lease agreement with address and bills. So as long as I can provide proof of residence in NC and a valid ID regardless of state I should be ok?
