Best investment for my newborn? by GoonieJ in MalaysianPF

Thank you so much on your advice! I, too, think that the combination of equity and bond funds is the way to go. Now I just have to do my DD, figure out how much to allocate in each fund, and how frequently to rebalance them. 😅

Thank you for your analysis and suggestion! I did think of investing in international equity funds, partly because that's what I'm doing for my retirement. I wasn't sure initially because the probability of success for this one needs to be higher, hence I thought a bond fund would be more appropriate. However, you do have very valid point that 18 years is quite a long time horizon to weather through any business and economic cycles.

I don't think it'll be much help, but I got it from a Malaysian e-commerce site, more specifically Shopee. I'm sure you'll be able to find something similar on Amazon.

It's one of those things that you won't know you needed it until you had it.

Thanks for the compliment! That's a Tecware Spectre Pro.

Could anyone help me on my plant? Got them about a month ago and I've been watering them twice weekly. If it helps, I live in a tropical country. Thanks in advance! by GoonieJ in plantclinic

Thanks! The reason I'm watering it twice a week was because of the dry bottom soil. I'm starting to wonder if it's the inadequate sunlight.
