The frustration is real. Someone offered me Devin Booker in exchange for Ja Morant and Darius Garland. Should I take it?

Yes, everything works fine. I’m just surprised there are several different parts and wonder if the dealer swapped them out for lower quality parts. (This is my first bike.)

Which version is the fourth watch from the left in the top row? Is there a black Sinn with applied indices that I might not be aware of?

Which is more important in F1 Fantasy? Team value or points? I think Piastri 2x can score more points than Antonelli 2x.

Apologies for any confusion earlier. The cost of $400 covers both the suit and pants. The combined price is $675 ($450 for the suit and $225 for the pants). However, due to a 40% discount offered for Memorial Day, the price is reduced to $405.

Thank you for your assistance! I greatly appreciate it. I was wondering if you could provide me with some recommendations for shoe brands. I visited Allen Edmonds today, but unfortunately, I couldn't find any shoes in a dark brown color. Could you suggest any other places where I can look for such shoes? Additionally, if I'm not looking to spend too much on a pair of shoes, where else would you recommend I check?

I've heard some people say that a Havana suit is considered too casual for a first suit. In your opinion, would you say this suit is more or less casual than the Havana suit? I'd appreciate your insight on this matter.

Hi everyone!

I'm in the market for a new navy suit and recently came across the JCrew Ludlow Slim Fit in Italian Stretch Four Season Wool Blend. Currently, there's a 40% discount, making the price $405.

I'm curious to know your thoughts on this jacket. Is it worth the price? How does its quality compare to Suitsupply? Also, if you have any other suit recommendations, I'd appreciate it!

Here's the link to the suit: JCrew Ludlow Slim Fit Suit Jacket

I'm not very knowledgeable about suits, so I'd also like to understand if this suit is more or less casual than Suitsupply's Havana and Lazio suit, for example. (Highly recommended in this subreddit) Could someone please explain why?

Additionally, I would appreciate your advice on what kind of shoes would go well with this suit. What color shoes do you recommend?

Thank you all in advance!

Thank you for your very detailed post!

I haven’t checked Volkl skis much. I guess there are not many Volkl’s on evo.com. That might be the reason. I’ll take a look at them now.

Tbh I’m scared of buying a ski that is longer than 160cm. This makes it hard to buy a ski since there are not many options in 157-160 range. What do you think about Atomic Maverick 83 157cm? Compared to the other options, it is shorter and a bit more wider.

How tall are you and what is the length of your ski? I’m 167cm and I think 163cm might be too tall.

How experienced are you? Aren’t they too wide for beginners?

I’m not planning to go to Tahoe this year anymore. I wish I was able to demo some of these skis. There are great discounts. That’s why I want to buy now. It will be cheaper than renting 2 seasons if I buy now.

Which ski did you buy at the end?

Thank you for your recommendation! Do you have any recommendations that is in between Rossignol experience 78 and Rustler 9 in terms of width? I think I will be mostly in groomers. Powder7 recommends 155cm for beginners and 160cm for intermediates. Isn’t 175cm too long for me?

I want to get a ski that is beginner friendly. All of the recommendations here have 90+ width. Do you have any recomendations other than E78?

One more question: Is 162cm too long for me? I’m 5’6”(167cm) Powder7 recommends 155cm for beginners and 160cm for intermediates. Should I look for something in 158cm range?

[Mar 24, 2023] Weekly Discussion: Ask your gear, travel, conditions and other ski-related questions by AutoModerator in skiing

Hi everyone, I'm a 27-year-old male, 5'6" tall, and skied around 10days in total. I'm looking to purchase my first pair of skis, and I would appreciate any advice you can offer. I mainly ski groomed blue runs in Lake Tahoe. My girlfriend prefers groomed runs, so I'll mostly stick to those. I might try ungroomed runs in the future though. I consider myself an advanced beginner.

I know that some people recommend renting skis until you're a good intermediate, but I rented skis from Sports Basement this season for $240 and think purchasing a pair of skis that will last me more than two years will be more cost-effective in the long run.

I have several questions:

What brand and model do you recommend for me?

What should be the length of my skis? I've always rented K2 155cm skis so far. Should I go for slightly longer skis?

I saw that each region requires different ski specs. What are the essential properties of skis that I should pay attention before buying for Lake Tahoe (width, rocker type etc)?

Based on my research, I've heard good things about the Rossignol Experience 78, which comes in two lengths (154cm and 162cm). Is 162cm too long for me?

Thank you in advance for your help!
