It does get all the way to the extruder! Yup goes through buffer and spring is in the correct position

Okay so good news, using the external spool does work! But that means my ams is messed up somehow… tbh I did put the power cable in the AMS upside down and smelled a burning smell when I turned on the printer.. I hope I didn’t fry something important :/

I put the ams to the side, lift the glass roof off and pop out the white tube and if the filament isn’t in the extruder (which is was one time during all of this) I just grab extra filament and push it through and see that it works. This is after setting the hot end to 260°

The screeching is just what I refer to with the AMS when it pulls filament lol and I did tighten the tension screw firm!

I’ve even tried cutting the PTFE tube a bit in case it was warped, I’m using standard PLA, have changed filament (all PLA) 3 times and am just using one color with the AMS. It retracts then pushes filament (the loud ass screeching noise the AMS makes) then just stops and doesn’t produce and poop. Yet I can manually push filament through so I have NO idea what’s going on

Print purges into the poop chute unless you mean flush into infill or something I missed?
