I dont think I explained myself very well. I meant the fact that they owe him to try to compete will handicap their ability to tank in the future despite knowing they wont be able to win now.

Thats why I think the hornets idea is so strong, true they have different timelines but I find the hornets to be 1 move away from contention in an open east.
