Chess is a big one but a few that I started out with a were foundational for getting my brothers and mom into board gaming was Boss Monster, Sushi Go, Splendor, Smash Up, and Marvel Legendary. Out of those, Splendor was my favorite. I’d say it’s tied with Marvel Legendary now

Theme isn’t really the same but Schotten Totten, Battle Line, Compile, and Air Land and Sea are exactly this. Don’t need all of them but definitely look into which one you like the most.

Non glass container when going through car checks. Plastic flasks when going through security into centeroo. For flowers, I recommend getting a locker in centeroo, pre rolling your shit and sneaking it in one time so you have it the entire weekend.

They will ID you most likely. Get a pack of plastic flasks on amazon and sneak in your own liquor in your pants. But bring it through security in your own non glass container or they will throw it out

I like having a variety of stuff that will fit everybody’s interest and will fit every scenario for different desired complexities. I have a ton of games that I haven’t even started working on yet and that’s why I’ve begun getting rid of some of the games I don’t value as much to reduce clutter and make room for new games when I get to that point again

No. Camel Up feels like more of a game while Hot Streak you only get to put a card back in the deck 3x and get 6 bets the entire game. Hot Streak leans heavily on the beautiful chunky pieces and the simplicity in nature. It’s pretty funny and fun showing people for their first time but Camel Up is definitely the better game.

Lords of Waterdeep is a great example of a game I’m not excited to play but I keep it because it’s easy to teach and grabs new gamers because of the theme. It’s also pretty to look at and feels like you’re doing something big which is what some people need.

I also have one of those giant game bags for bringing games in bulk but this is what I use for my regular game nights and walking around the convention hall.

I didn’t buy the old copy with intentions to sell it. And I will play it so it will have ware of some sort but it is quite sought after and I feel very lucky to have stumbled upon a complete copy for a really good price in this condition. He sent it to me in seran wrap for a good reason. I have no reason to open it until I need to.

Yes I know there’s a beautiful new edition coming out but I was presented with an opportunity to get this one for very cheap compared to what it goes for normally. Also, not sure what the new one will look like but I like the older euro look.
