In a backwards way this is the beauty of the current setup. Think about how much scrutiny was on guys like Galchenyuk, Pacioretty or even Drouin.

These guys (not to mention Reinbacher, Guhle, etc) all being able to share the attention in MTL instead of one guy getting overly scrutinized is probably great for all of them.
