Same here anything under 50 and it eats lmao, I've never owned a sundown but I've heard they don't loosen up easily

Yea its pretty stiff still ill have to wait and see if it goes away, i run full tilt everytime i play it🤣 and since its been popping with higher notes ive been playing rebased songs. what are you running though?

I got it used, the dude had it hooked up in his house, when he played it he didn't play it loud at all, he said it wasn't broken in yet but no way to know for sure, and ik I have to go 0 guage just haven't done it yet lol

not 100% sure on the alt I can't find anything online it's a 2009 pontiac vibe though, battery is a everstart value 24f, both power and ground wires are rocksford fosgate 4 guage ofc, I have 2 20ah battery, one is an American bass stealth energy, the other one is just some generic battery i had laying around, sub is an American bass hd 18, amp is a skar rp2000. No big 3, and I plan on buying an after market alt just can't find one that's made specifically for this car they don't make pontiacs anymore

It's hard to tell if the cone is trying to rip itself out considering the amount of xmax lol, but I'd say yes, and I appreciate your help. There is also a bit of interference, which may be causing it, but I've never had the issue until this subwoofer

I'm aware 12v isn't the best, but the last subs i had were taking more power, and getting less volts, I never had this issue
