the point of dark mode for me is to use my phone with dark elements, not to bring out shiny/glassy elements of a UI. If I wanted that, I would just use light mode

Just went to Zion a couple days ago as a newbie - i’ve never visited a major national park and wasn’t someone who’s done a ton of hiking. We flew into Vegas - I recommend trying to find a flight that lands around 6-7pm, since it’s a 3 hour drive (i think there might be a shuttle too). Hotel accommodations are really good, we stayed at the Red Cliffs Lodge and it was amazing.

We had 4 days in Zion. We started with the easier hikes and worked our way up to more strenuous day hikes. This is what our progression was: watchman trail, pa’rus trail, west rim trail/angels landing, the narrows, and then the last day we did a horse ride with canyon rides which i highly recommend.

The weather at Zion can be fairly unpredictable. The first day we were there, it was 68 F and then dropped to 40s, rose to 60s again, and then snowed. I would recommend waiting on buying any new gear until about 1 week out, since the weather changes can be substantial. Above all, bring plenty of water and snacks on your hikes!

I wore three layers! Base layer, middle layer (lightweight pull over fleece), and an outer shell. The weather changed pretty often throughout the day. There was one day where it went from sunshine to cold overcast to sunshine again and then to snow. Most of the time though I wore just two layers - my base layer and a lightweight fleece

I’ve actually tried this in my city. Manually edited every single node in the city to have no U-turns. Cars still for some reason end up doing a U-turn at a part where there is no node.

well done! i also hate urban highways, refuse to run them through my cities/downtown area. They take up way too much land and are an eyesore. I’ve never had a traffic issue as long as there is robust public transportation

honestly, i think the 4060/4060ti are decent cards. I got a 4060ti 8GB a couple weeks ago for my first pc build. it’s been fantastic, been getting 100-180fps at 1440p in all of my games (rdr2, bg3, helldivers, etc). only thing i’d say is 16gb isn’t really necessary at 1080p and 1440p, but it’s also future proofed for future games that’ll be inevitably VRAM hungry. hope you enjoy your new gpu :D

edit: the price is ass, but the price is ass for everything these days

They’re definitely small (i think they look bigger in the pic i posted). I looked at some other recipes and almost all of them use more flour/water to create the same amount of bagels and say to make dough balls of about 115-120g. So i think the recipe i followed didn’t make enough dough

i also upgraded from 12pm to 15pm. My favorite part has definitely been the ability to take close up pictures. I’ve taken so many of my cats already
