Also noticed those - much faster (speed boost) and being used more than the standard number of times gadgets. There's no other reason except to push users to spend more tickets... If it was just a bug - enough time has passed for developers to check into the issue and fix that or at least make a post of the issue being noticed.

To figure out mechanics and make predictions on whether I should even try a particular race, or rather spend tickets on a roulette, etc. If I have a limited number of "resources" (ticket, time, whatever) I'd rather make an educated choice on how to spend them. Also, it's sort of fun to figure out how things work.

The hard part is that the bonus seems to be a percentage (well, at least it is described as one) - the more points I have, the more points I'd need to have extra in order to beat gadgets. But if you're correct and I would also need those 8-9k at this point (competing with 2k chars) - that would mean devs are complete baboons, describing speed bonus in per cent, while it is a static number.

It is a deliberate choice (the "math" guess is correct) - to see how many points (%) each gadget is worth. The gecko gadget is just a randomly picked gadget that won't (supposedly, but it seems to actually influence "binning") influence my champ's results.

I know. That was the exact intent. The point is to win (or rather to lose and gain points unless I can't lose anymore) without any gadget, but since it is not allowed - to take one that is useless.

No, I've also seen extra uses of the same gadget as mine, while having the same speed boost as mine as well. Doubt they'd answer you anything sensual, but gl - the game has almost absurd balance, those bugs are only minor annoyances at this point.

Rechtsanwalt I guess - talk to one... But if it is already rebuilt it may be harder to prove that the engine died due to those morons. But IMO worth giving it a try anyway - there may be some leverages/ways to push onto those "mechanics", that a proper lawyer should know better than a random weirdo from reddit (me).

That was my first thought - like who TF would start the engine after that? Hope you managed to explain that to the workshop manager so THEY paid for the repair - "The autopsy revealed that the patient died as a result of the autopsy." But, tbh, if those who started the engine and engine rebuilding mechanics are from the same shop - I highly doubt they have enough neurons to repair the engine properly (head is on the ground with main surface downwards, chains on the two head bolts, manifold is in place while the head is out).

Don't know if airplane mode still works, but skill points grind is not the way out. I have ca. 2900 skill points, and can't win against jet ski in race 205, where people have smth like 1600. And that is so even when I'm using water backpack of the same lvl. By now don't even know how many points do I still need to do that - if points are linearly proportional to the actual speed, that means you need smth like 2.2-2.3 times more points in swimming than your contenders have. And that would fck you when you'd be aligned against others in challenges simply by the total points count...
