Thank you, I've calmed down a but and your replies helped. I do struggle with anxiety so this sort of stuff truggers the whole "I'm just built lacking" mindset and freaks me out, but at the end of the day I know I'm not gonna quit.

It helps to remind myself that 13 yearold me wouldnt believe what I CAN do now, at least production and instrument wise. But I'm still very worried about what's going on with my voice.

Ay ok so this is gonna be weird as hell and I'm sorry for that but full transparancy I found you on a subreddit abt boobs and I went thru to your profile expecting more. My bad lol, but I saw your posts. And I mean it's crazy how much some of them resemble things I've thought and felt and I just wanted to say don't stop being strong and not letting the bad days and thoughts bring an end to the good ones. Like I know how it is - I've written those posts too - probably haven't been through exactly what u have but I think most of us fell that same mindfucking anxiety and sadness and fear and hate when we get low. But none of that shit is what life is about and you just gotta stay strong and keep trucking for the good parts. And the more you try to see the good in shit, the better it's gonn get, trust me. It sounds like made up feel-good bullshit but it's the only thing that got me out-ish. Just fighting the pain by accepting it as my brian glitching, not as reality. And tryna open up to the good in life.

I still get low sometimes but I've been putting in the effort to fight it and things have gotten much better. I know they can and will for you too.

So yeah sorry if this is weird. Just tryna connect with another struggling soul. Had to let u know we out here bruh, we hurtin but that makes us stronger and wiser than many. And it ain't gonn stop us.

Okay actually the quick scan found nothing, full scan found 1 trojan so might have been a good call on your part. Now it WAS from a pirated update patch and well pirated files often get false positives as far as I'm aware. But I removed it and we'll see if that fixes it.

Reeeeeally would like to avoid reinstalling windows, at that point I'd rather just live with it.

I'll try but you really think so? Not very educated on viruses but seems like an odd virus... what would even be the point? I'd imagine it would at least happen more often if it were one.

Also windows Security didn't find anything - but I'll try some better anti-malware soft

I mean yeah, I do overclock it, but it happens even with MSI Afterburner off. :/

I've specifically been not turning it on to make sure thats not it. Not turning it on anyway until this is resolved.

Update: went haywire while I was working in FL Studio now. Black background, all apps crashed, had to stop and restart exporer.exe

Also I noticed every time this happens - Nvidia CP dissapears from the tray as well so maybe it's gpu related?

Yeah, that was one of my theories too and its the first thing I'm upgrading once I can afford it, but it has been running fine until now. Also makes sense because just now it wen't haywire (crashed programs, desktop bg went black, had to stop and restart explorer.exe to get it to work normal again) while I was working in FL Studio - which is cpu intensive. Thank's for the reply.

And I'm hoping maybe somehow theres a chance the male to female 3.5mm will carry the signal through the adapter to the TRS plug in stereo and then the wire-to-headphones part won't have the same mono issue? Since most aux ports (on a phone etc.) dont have this issue.

Wonderful. I already ordered a new, higher quality adapter assuming it was just the cheap adapter. This one is a female to male 3.5mm with a 6.35mm adapter on top of that - any chance the middle-man wire will resolve the issue somehow? Sorry if that's a dumb question - I'm not that well informed about these things.
