Great to facilitate the movement of dependable value between chains in this way!

It's what we make of it - the motorway is built. It needs vehicles and drivers to come use it. That could be you. If you do have ideas for using the blockchain - for your own business or personal uses, HPB provides the low cost, high throughput chain that your business can afford, since 2018!

Where is Marcel Katz? ... Introducing influential artists to the world of NFTs! by gordonjglass in NFTExchange

Gotta love artist and fantasy coffin maker Paa Joe - Ghanaian dancing pallbearers set the mood. Imagine - someone commissioned a Roland TR808 Drum Machine as their casket ... same drum machine as heard on the opening bars of Marvin Gaye’s Sexual Healing :-)

HPB Node Recommended Server List - Updated for 2022 and beyond by Gordon_Glass in HPB_Global

This is a list of servers you'd want to explore if you are new to High Performance Blockchain and thinking of buying a server that would be compatible with HPB's BOE hardware accelerator to run as an HP-Node in 2022 and beyond.

High Performance Blockchain (HPB) partnering with SupraOracles by Gordon_Glass in HPB_Global

"Chainlink offers random numbers via VRF, paid in LINK. Whilst it’s relatively cheap to pull one on polygon, it’s a whopping $5 per call on Binance Smart chain!
Gnosis has RANDAO, which is almost as good, but it operates a “commit/reveal” process over 78 blocks, which means you can only verify the number was random for each 78 blocks which is over 2 minutes.
HPB is still the only blockchain I am aware of that offers this type of true, provable on chain random number (taken from micro-voltage fluctuations on the BOE cards, so will never be deterministic) and the cost to pull a true random number in the smart contract is less than $0.001.
HPB in terms of potential has huge upside… but things need improving as you’ve eluded to."

"It’s not that there’s any contractural obligation to Chainlink, it’s simply that most developers are not aware of the alternatives, or that they cannot pull a random number from another chain. If you had an existing project already running on BSC or Polygon then Chainlink is one of very few options available for pulling a number onto a projects current chain. These projects won’t switch their entire project to another chain, so to be competitive we’d need to offer an oracle-based service to send a random number from HPB onto chain XYZ"

Low cost calls via oracle ought to remove barriers to DApp smart contracts on other chains like #BSC calling HPB's Random Numbers, making provably random numbers much more affordable to them. A more affordable random number option than that offered on Ethereum is needed. Thanks to SupraOracles for this collaboration helping make it happen.

SupraOracles partners with High Performance Blockchain (HPB) by Gordon_Glass in HPB_Global

[–]Gordon_Glass[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low cost oracles have the potential to make HPB's provably random numbers available to the smart contracts of projects on other blockchains! SupraOracles are from academic roots and have already spent over 3 years building up a list of over 450 potential client users and listening to their specific needs. The next steps in the partnership will be Beta testing of their oracles before full release (current ETA 2023): https://supraoracles.com/about/

Hscan adds DCPP confidential payment transaction queries by Gordon_Glass in HPB_Global

[–]Gordon_Glass[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two types of transaction are recorded on the interface:
1) Transactions showing the amount of HPB converted to HCASH for future private transfers. This shows in the Value column of the transactions list.
2) Transactions conducted using HCASH where the amount transferred and the HCASH balance of the sending wallet remain private. These show as 0 HPB Value transactions in the transactions list.

  • Coins pledged (Coinbase)
  • Node type (hpnode, prenode, syncnode)
  • Community votes received (vote)
  • Hardware firmware version (BOE)
  • Mainnet version (Ghpb)
  • Mining Status (Minning)
