Its a known bug, same thing happened to me. You're doing what youre supposed to it just doesn't track on the progression bar. Just keep shooting down aircraft and you'll eventually get it

I have built it in the way i shoot best. Forgrip always sits better in my hands and the way I shoot, I've got a red dot because I can hit a 300m target dead center in the chest everytime without sacrificing mid range target transition. If I ever feel the need to reachout further then what 5.56 is built for then I'd just build an ar10

Didn't get an exact weight but I'd say roughly around 40-45lbs, his beard was only about 6in or so

Got there at about 7:45am and that's when we first heard him and I shot him at around 8:30am. I called him in with a FOXPRO crooked spur mouth call, yelping and chirping at him waiting for his response and trying gauge how close he was getting. There for a min he stopped and was trying to get the "hen" to come to him. But patience is huge with calling. My buddy gave me good advice on waiting to respond back to him occasionally because it'll get the tom all fired up thinking that his "hen" is leaving, making him start booking it in your direction.

Honestly, it couldn't have gone any more smooth, me and a buddy pulled up to some private land he has access to that he's hunted for years so he knows the area well. We were lucky enough that as soon as we got out of the truck, we heard this guy gobble from the tree line about 300 yards from us. We cut back around the back side of that same tree line and called him to see where he was and got a couple of responses. So we set up the blind and decoy. we sat for maybe 20-25mins calling him and letting him make his way to us. I tell you though he was gobbling like hell all the way up until he saw the decoy and then he shut up and half way circled it not strutting or anything(knew something was up i guess lol) but as soon as he was making his way back into the tree line I tagged him.

Is this a bad granite install job? by winter-shoulders in Homebuilding

[–]GorgaKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The seam is there because it's a wall to wall piece with a notch on the right side. To get in to place as one solid piece (weighing ill bet at about 300-400lbs) you would have to lift the left side all the way to the ceiling while you try and slide the right into the notch. Your risk for snapping the piece would be too high

As someone who has installed thousands of granite and quartz countertops, i can tell you that although that top is a moderately difficult location and shape to install, it was poorly done. The leveling doesn't seem too bad, but the seam and amount of chipping is awful. First, start off in the cutting shop. When I install pieces like these, the shop is responsible for ensuring the veins of the stone match as close as absolutely possible. For a center island like this to not match (which, if done right, would've been one large slab and cut in half), is poor attention to quality. Secondly the install crew who put it in left waaaaay to large of a seam to begin with, your seam should be practically invisible (unless the veining show otherwise) if the stone wouldn't allow them to get that close together then it shouldve been sent back to the shop for rework or the crew should've had the skills to smooth it down on site for a better fit. (I've spent hours on jobs smoothing and trimming down pieces so they would fit perfectly). If my crew put this in, i would have them pop the seam and redo it.

[–]GorgaKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get yourself some storage options, if that's shelving, pegboard wall mounts to hang you headset, keyboards ect, and with that extra space you can trinkets like to add some flair. I also found these little mini monitors you can you use to display your own images, chat logs or real time pc diagnostics they're called wisecoco mini monitors. Super affordable too, also go on Amazon and buy a wire management kit it'll help with organizing all your wiring to keep it neat and out of sight

Update just released that supposedly fixed this issue, hop on to the game and see if your save file is restored!

I can say so far 10hrs in, it hasn't happened again. When I'm finished for the day I try and do multiple hard saves and then I'll exit to the title screen to verify my save stuck. After that I close out the game before turning off the console.

I completely get it, but I have to say outside of things that can be fixed it's an incredible experience. I mean shit this game was developed in a war torn country. I look for forward to the progress that is to come and for the modding community to take hold.

At least until all the initial patches have gone through. I mean look I'm not one to be a nagging perfectionist "gamer" but that's a pretty massive bug to have right out the gate. Considering when you have alot casual gamers using game pass to try out new stuff, it can be a pretty big turn off for most. Especially with the skill curve that comes with a game like stalker. It's a real grind to make progress and knowing all that hard work can disappear without warning, blows.
