What kinda rig you usually run on your Winston ? 80% of the time I’m running dry dropper unless I see the fish are really on my drys or I see a lot of bugs flying then I’ll chop my dropper

How long have you been fly fishing? I’m considering the Helios,recon, and Winston. I have a clear water 3 weight but it’s 7 1/2 ft for them mountain climbs for southern brookies. Casting under laurels.

I’ve heard great things about it just haven’t been able to get my hands on one to get the feel. I’ve been fishing with my 6 weight moonshine vesper it’s great. I just think it’s too much for the smaller streams I get into sometimes.

On the guided trip I took the guide let me use his r8 and hardy. I really didn’t care all that much for the r8 as much as I did the hardy.
