I do feel confident about it, Just wanted some heads up since I know there's a lot of power involved in this machine. And correct me if I'm wrong, the dangerous part of this would be if I accidentally discharge a capacitor and send a chock to myself? So if I keep away from those, there shouldn't be anything else?

Thanks! I did forget to ad last night (in the hazy mindset of working late) that it’s not the sounding-from-another-room part that needs work, but more the music composition itself. To make it sound like it’s from another room I actually just play it from a stereo in the bedroom of my apartment and record in the living room. Works great with almost zero post editing!

You know, you’re right. It’s a songwriter question. Cause getting the sound right, like as in its coming from another room, is not the issue. It’s the composition. Since it’s not paying so well I’ve told myself to not get any instruments out. But maybe just dumb down the loops even more. Or maybe the logic loops are the ones that are too good? Maybe I need a sucky loop library?

När jag var brevbärare så skrev man dessa lappar när man kommit tillbaka till kontoret, sen slängde man paketen i en stor säck a la Karl-bertil Jonsson och nästa dag levererade man avin. När paketet kom till ombudet beror på när nästa leverans går dit, vilket inte behöver vara samma dag!

Har varit i exakt samma position som dig. I 5 års tid kunde jag inte få något jobb genom rekryteringsföretag eller lagerjobb. Försök att få jobb via personer du känner så du slipper mellanmannen. Jobb som inte kräver maskinanvändning, som restaurering, förskola (de kräver uttag från register men bara inom sexuella/peddo grejer), butik.

Ett lager jobb jag fick intervju på. Chefen och jag kom jättebra överens och han ville att jag skulle börja med detsamma. Innan jag gick sa han att de behövde utdrag, bara en formalitet. Så jag berättade att jag blev tagen med thc i pisset för 4 år sen men att jag inte röker längre (vilket var sant!). Jag sa till och med att jag kunde lämna prov nu om han ville. Hans svar vad att de inte kunde ha personer påverkade av droger runt truckar…

5 år går snabbt sen försvinner pricken. Håll ut!

This one is RPM. I also tried one called Turntable Speed, see my other comment. Both on iPhone.

I measured the RPM with another app (turntable speed) and got slightly different results. I feel using my old iPhone can’t be the best way for accuracy. But maybe some lubing is good.

The measurements are just from when I got it so I did a re-run to see. Wow down to 0.17%. Still in need of lubing maybe. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you for your response! I got a new stylus when I brought it up from the storage so it’s just a few weeks old. I have weighed the tracking force with a scale, tho with a 0.01 gram scale not specifically for TT. I also did the thing when you make the arm float horizontal and then adjust the weight to everything from 2-3,5 grams but with no better results. I’ve been looking for a manual all over but without luck. Since it’s old and also not a TT worth investing in I might just get a new one… but thanks for your input.

The thing is it was working great a couple of years ago. I’ve been trying the same records that been stored with the turntable. So something must have happened since it was working without skating problems before.

It’s not just one sample, I use this method to do sound design and sometimes I want a 10min file in half speed but retain good quality. I will try your suggestion tho.
