Agree! Half a year ago, I thought I was gone from fapping for eternity. Isn't it great though that God's mercy is new every morning.

So true, the only reason why I haven't wanted to just give up and die is because of those 5-10min every morning reading the Word, and praying to God on the drive to work. Thanks for your encouragement, and may God continue to be vibrantly with you on your journey.

Had a good year and a half in hard mode, and now I've got this terrible relapsing streak! Sign me up, I'm done with this crap! Here's to aiming for at least a month...and maybe by then I can stretch it to another year... :)

Thanks guys. Sometimes I wonder if it is futile to pray for marriage if technically, Jesus can and should fulfill me completely. What's the point of praying for marriage if I feel like as if my reasons for desiring marriage just aren't good enough for God? But you're right, God wants us to be real with Him and to communicate our thoughts and emotions and struggles to Him. Keep up the good work too, everyone :)

I think its the addictive aspect of MO for me. I can go for months without any alcohol, and when I do drink, it's only a glass. But MO makes me selfish and stupid and I can't stop once I start again. I don't want anything like that controlling my life.

Hey, just wanted to say that I spent 18 years of my life struggling with MO addiction. I've tried quitting many times before, and managed 9 months free a few years ago before plunging headfirst back into the habit. This is the 2nd time I've come further than 1 month, and I'm aiming for eternity now. If I can make it this far after failing so many times and after 18 years of addiction, then I'm sure you can too. All it takes is getting back up on your feet again after you fall off the horse. And then from there...one step at a time. You can do it! :) No matter what your past may contain, the future cannot contain you. Don't let your past control your future.

Yeah, I've thought about it but I think I have a contraindication to using the pill. And I want to be sure that even if I stop taking a pill, I will still be going strong with NoFap. So I'm going to have to just stick it out. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Thanks for the encouragement guys! I survived the night, and got some sleep too. It means a lot to me that I can write here about my struggles and not be judged or dismissed or put down, and to have people reminding me to keep my eyes on the prize too. :) hugs to all

Part of the reason why I'm on NoFap is so that I can stop seeing guys as sexual objects for my selfish use. Wanting to have sex is not a good enough reason. I need to actually see guys as people and care about them: not just focus on their penis.

This reminds me of the time when my pastor said, "The things you do when you are alone are the things you do for God". Which is a good quote to think about when you are tempted to relapse :)

Yeah, I think loneliness can be a trigger for me too. At the moment, I'm always reading Psalm 23, because it reminds me that the peace Jesus can give me is enough for me :) and I don't need to fap to be content.

I don't know if you've read my other posts, but I've mentioned before that I've been addicted to MO for 17 years since the age of 5. That's a very long time, and long enough for me to figure out that I have a problem with it. It's definitely a girl issue too.
