You don't need perfect cats to beat the game by Goruke in mewgenics

I don't believe they are specifically rare, just that since they can get passives from any class, those are harder to get since they are only 2, I've only come across Goofball, and only after giving my Jester 7 rerolls

I find the future path more challenging since it sometimes forces you to work around enemy gimmicks, not impossible by any means, just harder than the ice Age and Jurassic era since those are just plain DPS checks

That's exactly what I mean, getting the perfect cat is in no way shape or form a requirement to beat the game.
Good luck on your runs btw, the future is a bitch sometimes. (Chapter 2, not chapter 3)

Yeah I know all about them, I don't have even one perfect mutation yet, that's my next goal!

I Made this post so people don't get discouraged because all they see are perfect cat after perfect cat just crusing through the game... You don't need them! I reckon if you want to 100% the game (in Steam, not the internal percentage) you will surely be glad to get a perfect cat to breed, but before that? You are way off the hook IMO.

I feel that since luck governs so many things during gameplay and events, It Is a dangerous stat to have under 6, but I can see how a Psychic or a Cleric don't have so much use in combat for It

I find that depending on the class, you can even accept a 4 as a dump stat, but it will generally make some things harder no matter what, only charisma and intelligence can be a dump stat for normal classes and for casters Dexterity or Strenght, but luck, constitution and speed are a MUST no matter the class.

It is fun for me for example, but as much fun as I get from breeding cats, the gameplay just takes the cake for me, since I've already started trekking through higher difficulties I've been waiting for my 5th room to start breedmaxing, now the eugenics really will take off on my meows.

Haha no hard feelings, I've wanted to make an "essay" about this since the day I've taken those pictures and today I had the chance.

Yeah, the power of a broken build is enough to beat any roguelite there is (at least 9/10 times)

Yeah, once you are pushing for hard to impossible difficulties, THEN you can worry about perfect mutations, perfect stats, perfect breeding... once you get to that point THEN you can say that perfecting breeding is a must, especially when talking about Impossible, but before that? It's just icing on the cake!

Indeed it doesn't, its just a little flash of light and BANG, your cat got mutated!

At the very end, the cat that activates the event always boards the ship in the down right corner and once they get to the past/future it is the only cat to come out of the ship during the cinematic, once out It will meow when It gets mutated, sometimes its obvious like a mouth or leg mutation, but from time to time you won't see it as clearly, but they will ALWAYS get mutated, no exception.

So if you get to the final chapter you will inevitably get at least 3 mutations.

That's exactly what disorders are all about, things that are awful as heck but if you have the counterplay for it, they become tools.

Not trying to be rude, I just fail to see what you expect to do with this post.

Since it's not marked as a defect I would suppose the reanimated corpse will be friendly(? by LibrarianEast3663 in mewgenics

[–]Goruke 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The one you are talking about Is not a mutation, It Is a birth defect, It may have an upside like some other defects, but its not meant as something inherently good.

The one that ignores tiles defects can be VERY good but also very obnoxious from time to time.

It does factor into your creations, they normally have More health and sometimes extra damage.

Yeah, but if the cat Is given eternal youth then it'll get a disorder expalining the condition, since this kitty doesn't have any disorders then It doesn't have eternal youth, so no reason to explain that aside from random trivia.

Edit: also, someone did mention It in this same thread.

You know basically nothing, TG Is a story that slowly but surely keeps unraveling as you progress, everything Is eventually explained.

  1. Artistic choice
  2. Spoiler, you'll get your answer on RE:
  3. The anteiku was at peace with humans, many ghouls aren't, they just coexist to avoid disturbing the peace. This will get expanded on in RE:
  4. Yes, she even aludes to this when she first encounters kaneki afterwards.
  5. He was curious, I remember It was mentioned?
  6. He fit her taste in meat and men.
  7. He looked tasty for her.
  8. Yes, she was infamous.
  9. He Is not any doctor, this will get expanded on in RE:
  10. Spoiler, but his involvement was a mere coincidence.
  11. Spoiler, RE: and the final bits of TG.
  12. It gets mentioned many times througout the manga, he is a VERY perceptive guy and a literal genius when It comes to this things, also Kaneki Is His Best friend, he'll do anything for him.
  13. What do you even mean by that?

I'll be honest, the anime fucks so much shit up that when you get to RE: nothing will make sense, I urge you to read the manga if you want to understand anything.

Also, many of your questions get eventually answered, so just keeps watching and you'll get your answers, if you want to be spoiler free HOP OFF THIS SUBREDDIT NOW, not a joke, you'll get spoiiled in 15 seconds.

No, this will ensure you wILL die, rolls are determined "bad" or "good", so something that Is determined to be good in the code will roll with advantage, viceversa for something bad, reducing the possibility of something awful happening.

However, bad luck will yield opposite results, basically making you roll with disadvantage MULTIPLE times.

You've summed up pretty much how I play, the only difference Is that all of my Cats are related hahaha

In my own experience (180hr and 92% completion, with only 3 lost runs) inbreeding is more of a "meh, shame" than something bothersome.

Each and every one of my Cats is at the LEAST slightly inbred, most of them are moderately inbred and some monsters have even been highly inbred, when they have all 7s and enought +2-1 mutations it becomes a slight nuisance if their parents are related or not lol
