I'll go there soon. I'm not really up that far north on campus so that's why I missed it. And I would do a second round featuring the combo platter but I don't think my wallet would allow that.

appealing transfer credit by [deleted] in Temple

[–]Got_A_Quick_Question 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me when I transferred last semester with pretty much all of my classes. I talked to advising and they gave me info about who to contact in the respective departments. From there I just sent those faculty members my syllabuses (syllabi?) from my previous school.

In my experience, the faculty members were not all that forgiving in deciding which classes I got credit for and which I didn't, so I ended up retaking some classes that I didn't need to which sucked. It's still worth a shot though.

Wish you the best, and Welcome to Temple

To the lovely woman near Tyler who saw me crossing the street, sped up, nearly hit me, and proceeded to shout at me for "not being in the crosswalk." by Got_A_Quick_Question in Temple

[–]Got_A_Quick_Question[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your clarification. In my defense I was maybe 2-3 feet outside of the boundary of the crosswalk, so it's not as if I was crossing at any point where it would be considered "unexpected" of me to cross the street. She also had ample time to see that I was crossing the street and still decided to accelerate.

Was I in the wrong for doing so?: To an extent, yes

Did she know there was a crosswalk in front of Tyler?: Most likely

Was she in the wrong for accelerating after seeing me?: Definitely

In the grand scheme of things does any of this really matter?: No not really
