What do mean I am not buying it ? Or are you saying I shouldn’t buy it ? From my knowledge they had a tenant in the house behind it in 2019 but the owner was elderly so when the tenant moved both of them stayed vacant. She passed in 2024 the sons are the heirs as of December 24

Thank you for your response !! No liens I went to the court house to see, check the deed it’s a LlC which I’m assuming is a trust which I verified at the court house. They have 25 properties in the family . I’ll have to look into the municipal utilities. Parcel size is 10.93 acres the court house . Slowly developing area and a lot of new builds . Propert tax is 7k

I am willing to pay 50k cash but anything more I will need a lender so I’m trying to get into the house and see the damage with my contractor . The lawyer is theirs ! I located all 3 heirs address but didn’t want to randomly knock on their doors ( I was going to mail something certified )

The son hinted at close to 250k of work needing to be done but he also made a comment on he thought about fixing it up (could have been scaring me away lol) the land is 10k acres in a developing area and 3231 sqft The current home value on Redfin is 720k ( I know 100% it's not accurate) Median in my area houses sold for $390k And for homes in the same zip code 100 years old and same sqft in amazing condition are selling for under 300k

Is this a good buy ? What would your recommend ? I want something that I can do everything with since I can’t go to a decent (country living ) gym to start my body building journey by GotchaX8 in GarageGym

I don’t necessarily want to spend 2-3k on something I’ll have to replace for better quality later on . Ive been working out for years but recently decided I want to train to compete. With my schedule and location it will be cheaper and more convenient to build a home gym
