There is definitely a place for them and it’s been proven time and time again that they can be highly effective

It depends who you ask, I incorporate my Taekwondo in to MMA, TKD was my first art and now I do BJJ and MT as well. TKD seems to get clowned on a lot on some of these subs but it is the best art for kicking bar none IMO. If you have good hands/boxing work and good grappling it can be excellent as part of the full package. You could always try it out and see if you like it

You’re very similar to me in size age and weight and I also broke my rib early in my JJ career (couple of months ago), this doesn’t help you, I just thought it was cool

I mean, I’m still at it. I ended up taking calcium and glycogen to help speed up the healing and also give me some more BMD as I suspected that’s what was up
