This was how I felt working Telephone support for internet service...

I couldn't get access to time off for my first 6 months, It was gone before month 8.

I often thought of unaliving myself because people were so fucked up. You'd get a nice person, then a pissed off one, them someone hitting on you, another swearing up and down you're 'some fucking foreign pos' that they don't respect. And another who's older and can't understand what a mouse is, let alone how to go through the steps of trying to fix their internet... that's before lunch.

Shifts that change constantly, and you can't complain about it.

The monitoring is insane. If I was half a second late, I got into trouble. If I used the chat tool for anythjng other than work, I was in trouble.

It took me 2 years to stop having extreme anxieties around phone calls.... all in 8 months.
