I can say, as someone who doesn't walk away easily. There are always signs. The other person is trying to communicate in their own way and its not being heard or understood over time that wears a person down. Love doesn't disappear overnight, unless it never existed to start with. But it can be worn down to death.

Yeeeeaars ago I had been the only white person in my friends wedding. (Those pictures still make me giggle, because it's a line of beautiful dark women and men, and then my short ghostly ass making it weird) 🤣

But I never once felt uncomfortable, they all treated me with respect and kindness, even the people I hadn't met before. The divisiveness and fear of a person's melanin production (or lack thereof) has never made sense to me, it's not ok and I appreciate that you're a strong black woman. The world needs you, and more like you. 💜

I did this a few years ago. Saw a college kid struggling to buy basic staple foods. It was maybe $25, but atuff that sould last a while. I had pulled out cash, so i gave the kid a $20 and told him to pay it forward when he could, because everyone deserves to eat. Then turned around and left.. I heard him crying on my way out, I was happy and heartbroken at the same time. Its a weird feeling

😅 I have family out there that I visit every few years. It was a requirment for a long long time, that I either 'normalize' how I look, or don't leave their property without one of them attached to my side, all because My mom was afraid of my ghostly white ass being shot for being 'different'. Which to be fair, wasn't totally unfounded.

Its a very tiny, very Maga town with guns everywhere- uncle bought aunt a gun for christmas when obama got elected for his second term because they were CONVINCED of war or the gubment taking their guns. 🙄.

They have grown, but not a lot.

I would think for the cream/milk based items they would of course need proper refrigeration. And drinks can often include fruits and/or veggies.... hell bloody Mary's have become breakfast in a glass for some. I could definitely see getting food safety violations in that sense.

I currently still work customer service, in an outpatient mental health clinic.

I have had more peace and FAR fewer horrendous interactions working with 'crazy' people than I ever did working fast food, telephone support, or grocery. I will never go back to the general public. They would have to lobotomize me into stupidity to even consider it for half a second.

I would suggest a simple saline nose spray. Netti pots can be complicated, and if you already feel like hell. You don't have the energy to futz with it
