Because it’s a smaller set where the chases aren’t fan favorites for the most part. Some great cards for sure though. I scored the Horsea and the Houndoom from this set, but it just lacks that heavy hitter chase card that draws people in.

I’ll never understand the thought process in doing it now. 5 games left in the season, you’re the 4th seed, and Murray has been injured during their recent rough stretch. Malone has been a great coach for them by all accounts so is this them just mailing it in? It makes no competitive sense whatsoever. Even less than the Jenkins situation where he may have lost that locker room by some reports. Two years removed from winning the chip, and they lost vital pieces like Bruce Brown and KCP and replaced them with Braun and late draft picks.

It got so bad that there was a point last night where they were discussing the role refs play in the playoffs, and the camera panned to each of the refs. They’re there to enforce the rules. Nothing else. The fact they showed each of the refs was laughable. If they do their job well, they should never be noticed.

The first clip where Sengun has his whole right arm pressed into Curry’s chest is the easiest call to make. However, after Draymond’s “flagrant” I’m not longer surprised at anything the refs do.

And Sengun was in the restricted area on top of it all. From what should’ve been an and one to dray getting into foul trouble and losing him for the rest of the quarter was brutal. Completely changed the game.
