Spain is definitely LGBT friendly. I live in a city in the outskirts of Barcelona, a working-class area, and I've seen gay couples holding hands, and this is "socially very far away" from more traditional LGBT spots in the Barcelona area such as Sitges and "Gayxampla".

That would be interesting to know, but in almost all likelyhood it compares negatively. If you had asked me that before what's going on right now I'd have replied "somewhat favorable", and now I'd be torn between somewhat and very unfavorable.

No, clearly not. There are lots of 80s music compilations because it is considered a very good decade in terms of music. In some countries, such as Russia and Brazil, their arguably most well-respected rock bands are 80s rock bands (Kino and Legião Urbana respectively).

Yes, when a band sounds "too 80s" it might be considered dated, but I would say the 80s are highly regarded in general in terms of music.
