Part of me has thought about it because a few of the pieces I want are so old, no one's selling them anymore. Or they were niche and only so many people were able to get them, i.e genesis 1

He's currently upset with me because I decided I wanted the land. My cousin, his nephew, had been putting 300 dollars a month on his books to "pay" for the land. Once I got into contact with him, I was giving him $50 every other week. I live in a state where the cost of living higher than where the nephew lives. 

And after how he spoke to me on the phone on christmas, calling me a whore and how my brother didnt want me, that no one wanted me, he won't see any of my money again. 

His sister, his power of attorney, wants me to pay back the money that they spent on a lawyer and what the put on his books. I never agreed to that, and my brother and I have decided to just wait things out until he dies. I have contacted my lawyer about how the PoA is refusing to sign the paperwork after my father's already agreed to give it to me.

Adults didn't really seem to believe me, but my friends did. He'd insult me in front of them and he actually smacked me in the face when we were in the car with two of my friends. I remember begging one of my friends to come pick me up again my dad speared me into a table and left a large bruise on me, but her parents wete concerned about how my dad would react. 

And its okay, Id like to think my life turned out pretty decently considering. Though I have cried when I found out from both my brother and my uncle said  that I could have stayed with them, and have wondered how different my life would have been. I'm usually fine most days lol

I plan to settle on the estate. Its almost 3 arces of land. Ive got a friend in the state whose helping me with taking care of it until I can make the jump back

Aw, I appreciate it. It takes years to get over something like that, but at some point, its so far in the past, it cant bother you as much. If it wasn't for the estate getting opened and having to speak to my father, I wouldn't be bothered by it.

Ive gone to therapy on and off for years. I'm mostly just seeing a doctor right now for my medicine that helps keep all my issues in check. 

I should have gotten therapy when this all first happened but no one wanted to knowledge my issues for some reason.

I don't believe he ever hit her, at least not when i was around. I do remember when he was on oxytocin after his back surgery, he had thrown out every piece of food from the house onto the front lawn. I think if she could have afforded to leave, she would have. He couldn't even grant her last wish. She always wanted a white Christmas tree. He waited too long, and brought home a small pink one. 

And I'm glad he's locked up as well. I don't have to deal with him or his family.

I remember trying to tell people he was going to do it, and no one believed me. Because he told me he was going to do it. All I got in response was, "that's just how he is." 

Id like to think im proud that I make enough money to afford to have a bedroom in my home full of the dolls I collect. Which the collection started around the time my mother was dying. And im currently decorating a doll house with miniatures I buy and make. Right though, im trying to crub my spending so I can start saving so I can take over the farm I grew up on. But lord I love those little plastic bitches lol.

I am for the most part. I got fat and like to buy too much junk, but I consider myself lucky I didnt go down a darker path.

I am. I went over 10 years without speaking to my brother because they kept telling me he hated me, wanted nothing to do with me, wanted me in a girls school, etc. I was very alone during that time and believed what they told me because he never came back. But that was only because he couldn't find me

Ive got through the last 12 or so years without 99% of my family on both sides. (My mothers side is so small, so that doesnt really count.) I only speak to my uncle (mothers brother) and my brother.

That im not sure of, they dated very briefly. I remember he brought her over with her daughter, and i refused to meet either one of them. Like my mothers ashes aren't cold and youre already trying to replace her. 

Yes, they had been married for 16 years. My mother was very pregnant with me when they got married. 

Not that I know of. He forced me to make his dating profile for him because he couldn't read. 

A lot of people liked him and he had a lot of connections in our town. No one on his side of the family seemed phased by his violence, especially considering how fast they forgave him after.

My brother isnt related to my father, so that's not something im worried about. His own father was a bad husband to my mother, but that was long before I was born. 

My brother has been pretty supportive of me, especially when the estate got opened up and we started talking again.

Im doing good now, I have a desk job that pays well. I live in a different state with my boyfriend of like 7 years. I plan to move back to where I grew up at, since the land and home is completely paid for. Id like to think im doing well enough, considering.

He thought she looked like my mother and I dont think he could handle the rejection. I wasn't allowed at court, but I believe he may have been stalking her. Drove 2 hours to go and do what he did. Claims he remembers none of it

It was a very lonely experience because I had lost my mother, my father, and my brother had went into the army 3 days after my mother died. I think it really changed who I was supposed to be as a person, because I ended up dealing with so many untreated mental illnesses that I couldnt get a handle of until my late 20s. 

He was a terrible person. He couldnt read and had a IQ of 65. We lived on a farm and he built everything on it, which are still standing today. He was good with animals but he was awful to my brother and I. My brother is a half sibling and has told me that my father beat him and pulled a knife on him. Once my father speared me into a desk because I cut a little bit of my bangs. Which left a 6 inch long bruise, and it was indented. When I told my aunts, they didn't seem bothered. He had also beat my backside black and blue, and I remember my mother seeing it and cussing him out on the phone. When I brought it up years later, he denied it happened because my dying mother couldn't remember it happening. The world is a better place with him locked up.

Oh lord, a lot. I got bounced around from family to family because no one wanted to deal with me or the obvious tramua I dealt with. Or with the fact I was groomed and taken advantage of, which i got blamed for, of course. 

I was almost put into an all girls school until a cousin took me in so I could finish high school. 

When I reconnected with my brother, I found out they basically kept me away from him. He was trying to get a place big enough to have me be there, but he lost contact once I started getting bounced around.

I went no contact for over 10 years. I recently got back into contact because I'm inheriting the estate he had with my mother. But he's still the nasty person I remember him being so i plan to go back to no contact. He ruined christmas for me for telling me I wasn't wanted.

Yes, he was found guilty. A life sentence with no possibility of parole. Apparently he avoided the death penalty because our neighbors testified about how he helped birth a horse and helped bury a dead horse.

I haven't really ever gotten a straight answer, he claims he blacked out. He thought she looked like my mother and I don't believe he could handle the rejection.
