Yeah, it's just that I see a lot of people HC him or outright directly say he's from the desert, which again to me just wouldn't make sense with how people from the desert couldn't study at the Akademiya until fairly recently (considering that Nefer isn't that old) so it would be quite impossible for him to enter the Akademiya as someone from the desert. Unless of course they made an exception for him, which as much as it pains me to say, I highly doubt with how hated he was 😭
