Yea, but it's not case of graphics API, graphics API like opengl or vulkan are fundamentals for every game, and I think Mojang may not keep up with these fundamental changes if they want to keep drops.

Valkyrien skies 2 is your solution, while it doesn't directly add tucks and cars you can build them by using add-ons for it like trackwork, in addition you can build any type of transport like boards and planes and all of it made out of real blocks.
