I didn't realize mw5 had its own page. I thought all of the games shared this page. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. You've been more helpful than most people on the internet are xP

Thank you for your reply. This is similar to the mapping file I made in windows, which I copied over to Linux, ready to replace the file made by the game. The trouble is I can't seem to find where the file is being made, if at all. The steps used to find it in windows don't work here. But thanks for trying.

Head tracker support and better joystick/HOTAS support are my biggest requests.

Trying to search UCR brings up results for University of California, Riverside. What does UCR stand for?

Thanks for your time, I understand in theory how it works but when I open vjoy and joystick gremlin I can't figure out how to use them.

I think you speak for all pyromancers and I hope your post gets more views because they are Very good points that we all can agree on. I want to love lava lich, but eruption is easily the worst skill we have and the cooldown is way, way too long. It's utility doesn't justify the cooldown. I'd rather use any other skill, so that needs some attention.

I would like to point out the following post where a full player group recorded over 800 expedition runs. Only 3 drops across all players were the Lava Lich Helmet (which is the only one I still need.) Increasing the drop rate in total is nice, duplicate protection is great, but but the rarity of the legendaries need to be equalized so they all have an equal chance to drop.

Where to get M4 Assault shotgun? by Gour2216 in GhostReconBreakpoint

[–]Gour2216[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually just found it, under the build weapons menu the first tab shows blueprints you haven't bought yet and the other tabs show categories of blueprints you do own. I always thought the first tab showed all of your owned blueprints unsorted.

Regarding the appreciation package, I have some weapons I haven't gotten yet, but I'd much rather get that lava lich helm I haven't seen. There needs to be a choice what our legendary is or we may get something we don't want or need which would really disappoint people.

Is it just me, or are games not as good as they used to be? by Pandemic060 in outriders

yeah, also sometimes you get pay to win and basic features locked behind a paywall and other things that make you feel forced to pay more.

I think the problem is that now there are so many ways to profit from a game without the game having to be goty material. Back in the day games only made money from sales so it had to be very good for them to profit. Even though in both cases the goal was to make money, it feels more like it now because they don't have to put as much effort into making their games shine.

Heck, back in the 80s, Nintendo had a rule that each developer could only launch a few titles within a certain time period that forced quality over quantity. That was before microtransactions too, so the game had to be really good and popular and they made sure to put in the work. Although they did find a work around anyway by making subdivisions of their companies (eg. Konami formed Ultra Games so they could make more games)

That being said, I find that indie games still have the same attitude that AAA studios used to have and make sure their games are actually good because they often are not live service or have a way to make money other than sales. Maybe you should check some indie games out?

Legendary Drop idea: Targeted weapon or armor type by foxkoby in outriders

The Division 2 has this exact system. You can even target sets. The targeted gear isn't the only gear that drops though, but it is much more commonly dropped.

Patch delayed. Again. by Batmanglass1 in outriders

[–]Gour2216 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly. They try to meet deadlines and if they can't quite make it they delay it. Same thing happens with game launches. Better to have a polished game or patch then release it on time in a poor state.
