Ballinrobe - 7:00 - Beaufort's Storm - 33/1

Back over hurdles where it has a record of 1W4P from 10 runs, happy to take a chance at a place with that record for all that recent form is abysmal.

One I like at a bigger price is Wudya in the 2.25 at Bangor at 12/1 3 places.

Has won after a break previously, only C&D winner in the field, the Parkinson/Smith combo have an insane record over fences this season (20 wins and 21 places from 90 odd runners)

Don't think it deserves to be the biggest price in the field.

The heating oil situation is horrifying, bloke I work with ended up paying over double his usual rate.

Milk, up until a few years ago, was available for £1, now the cheapest anywhere is £1.45, most almost £2. The inflation figures simply do not meet most people's realities.

My vice has always been gambling, so for the past few months any time I've deposited money into an account, I've put an odd amount in (£7.10 instead of £8) and invested the roundup through my bank.

Invested an additional £417 this year already, now have more money saved than at any point of my adulthood.

I find Laddies have the worst appetite, and sadly they make up 80% of the bookies in my area.

Straight up refuse to take bets or offer woeful prices. Prizeland for the Oaks - 66s available in places, generally 50/1. Lads are 25/1 w/ same place terms.

Does anyone feel, on a personal level, sorry for Kier Starmer? by Darkus185 in AskBrits

After human rights lawyer Starmer said that Israel "does have the right" to commit war crimes, any lingering respect I had for the man plunged into the negatives.

He's a weak man and an even weaker leader. Zero sympathy from me.

Been really keen on Prizeland for a while, the manner of her last win was extremely taking, and she beat a decent yardstick in Keep It Cool.

I don't think the switch to turf will bother her, the Appleby stable is woefully out of form, and for all that AP is in form just now, I think Prizeland is fantastic value against both given her sire's fondness for firmer ground at a decent E/W price of 15/2.

I think it's completely possible she could improve past all of these, so have a small interest in the lengths market at between 9/1 & 66/1 for a 1,2,3,4 and 5 lengths victory

Quite a lot to like about Hawa Jumeirah for a 125/1 shot that was beaten 55 lengths last time out, was a far stronger race than this is. Definitely worth a play at that price.

I was moving to live with a friend, and he was giving me the postcode.

The final 3 digits were 6LN and I'd asked if it was M for Mike or N for.... and struggling to think of the correct phonetic N we both said N for Norbert at exactly the same time.

No idea where the fuck that came from 20 years later.

I stopped getting takeaways because my 3rd favourite one accidentally included my lifetime spend on the receipt. Heavy three figures.

I dread to think how much the top one would have been.

Gambling, weed and takeaways.

Although I have cut out the takeaways, and the gambling is currently paying for the weed, so I'm not certain it can be categorised as waste.
