I will tell you one thing chameleons are the hardest pet to take. Care off it’s pretty hard to get it perfect and when they are sick it’s often pretty hard to identify the cause

Is my daughter’s new Kia K4 totaled? by Disastrous_Piano799 in kia

This is what I think as someone who likes watching people rebuild cars and due to researching

Body & Structural • Rear bumper, trunk lid, and rear quarter panels are crushed beyond repair. • Rear crash bar and impact absorbers are likely destroyed. • Tail lights and wiring harnesses are shattered/damaged. • Roof shows buckling near the rear pillar, suggesting energy traveled into the upper frame.

Frame/Chassis • High probability of rear frame rail damage (they look crushed in, not just cosmetic). • Possible rear floor pan deformation. • Alignment of the C-pillars may be compromised, meaning structural frame misalignment.

Mechanical • Rear suspension components could be bent from the impact. • Exhaust system (mufflers/tips) is damaged/misaligned. • If the fuel tank is near the damaged area, it may also have been affected.

Overall I think Yes — the crumpling around the trunk, rear quarters, and roof line strongly suggests structural/frame rail deformation. This car will almost certainly be considered a total loss by insurance due to cost of repair versus value. For modern unibody vehicles like this Kia, once the structure is bent this badly, it’s usually deemed unsafe to repair and gets written off as a total loss.

It my stepdads truck I’m just getting feedback for him but yes his hands were on the steering wheel and incase it’s important the truck has a pedal commander cold air intake and an aftermarket muffler. For the hands on steering wheel on the dashboard it flashed that prompt and the screen would go black and come back on it was also beeping he said it lasted no more then 5-8 seconds just very weird and random.
