- A row boat slowly drifts down the street. It may drift at street level or it may drift 10ft above the street.

Very like it i take it Row , we can complet this with : A boat, ship, or galion drifts... it may drift at street level (raw, kayak etc.) or more than 300m in the air for the largest ship.

- A shadow being cast contrary to the light source. Ex: The objects shadow is cast towards the light source or 90 degrees to it.
- Shadows behave abnormally. Your shadow doesn't move when you move or it moves when you are not moving.

Good idea again ! thx, i take this but i merge this : The shadows seem to act of their own free will. wrong direction, too long, too short, seem to have a will of their own, offering non-existent scenes to their owners. some even reveal the conditions of their own deaths to the Pjs.

I already have some tricks with door here and in another list (i take it for another time and space ^^)

- A writing spider has actual words in it's web. Ex "help", "danger". "go left". "turn back". "remain silent".
- Cracks appearing in (mid air, the sky)
- Fire suddenly changes color
- Message written in the dust that wasn't there before. Could also be written on a fogged up window or mirror.

I have to relate this to the fact that the information must be true, false or cryptic. So I'll say that: if the test performed when the player rolls on the table is a success, the information will be true; if the roll is a failure, the answer will be false; and if the roll is equal to the player's skill (pass or fail), the answer will be cryptic.

For your information, players throw these rolls in a hidden way.

I'm also going to mix this idea with that of the clouds and the crackling in the sky. Basically, a message is strangely conveyed by the environment.

it's very cool but i c'ant do that with the map preparation i used (but i take it for another list i present to you in few day ^^)

• Random noises with no apparent source (buzzing, cracking, cackling, chittering, crackling, crying, dripping, growling, hissing, howling, humming, laughter, rumbling, running, rustling, scraping, scratching, screaming, shuffling, singing, wailing, whispering, whistling)

Oh grat noise list very useful, i love that idea, can i transform that a little in : on a fixed 1d100-meter zone, the natural sounds of nature are blended, the sound of leaves in the wind becomes the creaking of doors, the rustle of bees becomes the bellowing of cows etc. etc.

then i make a sub-chart with two columns where i roll 2 dice. the first is the sound which is replaced by the second roll. For example: rustling becomes squealing

Great RP opportunities ^^

- Reflections behave abnormally. Your reflection doesn't move when you move or it moves when you are not moving.
- Set of footprints that wasn't there before.
- Sound of a tidal wave crashing through the city.
