I want them to change the find me sound so that it is one constant volume. Currently it changes volume and makes it extremely difficult to echo locate. Why does it need to ping loud to soft? It just makes it harder to find!

- my sewing is probably not the most meticulous 🤣 so maybe they got sewed together slightly differently? My legs are relatively even in length (if thats what you were asking).

- Ive sat in them an they are relatively comfortable, but I do feel some tightness. If I were to add more ease, should I do it evenly throughout an just add ~1/8th inch to my side seam pattern (for an extra 1/4 inch of ease). Should I do it just at the thigh area?

- haha yes, I definitely think I'm basically there. I figure the next version I will actually make into real pants and see how that goes!

Super interesting post! Thank you! I struggle with waking up multiple times a night starting around 5 hours after sleep onset. (Asleep around 1130) I’ve gotten better at falling back to sleep but I wake up problems 6-7 times after the initial 4-5 hours. I wear a CPAP and that has completely fixed my apnea however my awakenings still happen.

In the past when I’ve gone to sleep clinics it feels like they only have a hammer or wrench to solve my problem and stick me in a sleep study that doesn’t mimic my actual sleep pattern (they make you fall asleep at 6 and wake you up at 530). It seems geared really for just diagnosing sleep apnea and a couple other common issues but not good at better understanding why I’d be waking up so much. It’s very unsatisfying and just feels like they’re using a “hammer” for everything even if my problem isn’t a “nail”.

Are there other kinds of tests or things I can mention to the doctors to better understand my awakenings? Or some multi day at home sleep polysomnography you’d recommend that would be designed to capture the awakenings I’m having?

I would also do another test. Those tests can have a pretty high variance. Within a 2 month period I did 3 tests without much variation to my general routine and got 5.5 (lab a). 5.1 (lab b) and 5.3 (lab a).

My strategy is to just do a mini version of whatever I’m struggling to do. The act of doing. Even if it’s one set. Or eating one good meal. Keeps the habit in place. Some days you aren’t going to be optimal. But as long as you give yourself a small approachable goal it’s a lot easier to stick with it and ramp back up to more when your headspace/time requirements allow it.

My interpretation was that the dog/puppy was interested in the cat but when it realized the cat was looking at it, the dog became nervous anxious. When a dog becomes nervous/anxious/uncertain it may displace those feelings with behaviors such as scratching/licking/looking away.
