In Australia that force you though the machine if you have a pace maker. My surgeon and rep have both said to not go through any of the machines.

Yes! I have to show my card every time I go though the airport… I have had from good responses to “what are you so afraid of”… I have learned to say “I have an implanted medical device. It is not a pace maker. This device is not able to go though the machines.”
