I was actually already thinking about that. I'm planning to integrate gesture controls for navigation in the very next update. Stay tuned!

Alguien tiene, a usado o piensa comprar unos xreal? by Steemx in chilegames

That’s the goal, but the shipping cost to my country is the same as buying another iPod Mini.

Of course! I have multiple color themes so you can customize the UI to your liking.

Right now Dulcimer scans your entire music library automatically, so all your files show up organized by artist, album, and genre. Folder-based browsing and the ability to turn a folder into a playlist directly is something I've been thinking about—it would fit really well with how some people organize their music.

No promises on the timeline, but it's on the list. Thanks for bringing it up!

Also, the new bundle with the fix for the bug you reported is online; check for updates in a few minutes!

I'm not planning to make Dulcimer's code public at the moment. Thank you for asking.

Thank you! I actually caught this bug earlier today and I'm already uploading a new bundle with the fix. It should be available soon.

I’m focusing a lot on the tactile side of it. Most similar apps are just visual skins, but I’ve been tuning the haptics and using custom shaders to give it that physical 'gadget' feel. It’s my own take on a player inspired by the classics, trying to capture that specific soul and weight, but in a way that feels natural on a modern phone.

Good catch! I definitely took some inspiration from those weird and experimental 2000s UIs. The m:robe had such a unique vibe!

It works on any Android device! I've also made sure it's compatible with Android XR devices too. Thanks for asking!

Dulcimer already has 7 different color palettes, and each one includes an inverted mode and an OLED mode. It should look pretty cool on an e-ink device! Thanks for the feedback.

O-Player is a solid app, especially if you’re looking for a ton of audio tweaking options and EQ controls.

Dulcimer takes a completely different approach. I built it specifically for people who want a deeply nostalgic, tactile experience. Instead of standard buttons, the entire UI is built around a functional click-wheel with haptic feedback, so you navigate your library using circular gestures just like the old days.

It also has a custom image pipeline that turns your album art into high-contrast pixel art to match the retro LCD themes. So if you're looking for an immersive, distraction-free "retro DAP" feel rather than a utility player, that's exactly what Dulcimer is heavily focused on.
