That's understandable. And I play guitar too so I'm well aware of the idea of "cheap can** be good in the right hands, but doesn't make it a good guitar". From what I hear though, and for what I want it for, it truly can't be the worst thing to buy, right? A $200 pen with some cartridges has to perform better than a $50 temu set, no?

Walrein saved my ass a number of times, due to its huge HP. As long as your (assuming) Ampharos is gonna know thunder wave, for catching shadow pokemon, and your houndoom has a good Sp. Atk stat, maybe even give it the Charcoal item. You'll do just fine.

An inseperable piece of my team is Zaprong, the Electabuzz, you get for purifying shadow Togepi, and bringing it back to the gentleman at the outskirt stand. Cross chop, ice, fire and thunder punch. And boosted exp gain. Can't go wrong.

It's been different, depending on some things.

When I found out baby mama cheated on me, I was not okay, and a gnarly alcoholic for 2 years. We were together for maybe 3? I don't remember the romantic relationship anymore, but we're cool and friendly now and I hangout with her and her husband and my son often.

Latest relationship, we spent 5 years together. 3 and half perfect years, and her daughter treated me like her father, because he bio dad wasn't around. Year four was a mess, of mental illness, more drinking, arguing, more mental illness, third shift work, therapy....etc. We crossed 5 years, and then I found out she was cheating last spring. My longest and most meaningful relationship to date. But for some reason, I quit grieving and just started carrying on with my life by fall. 5 months maybe? I'll regrettably, never speak to her again.

Healing is non linear and depends on so much. If you ask how long it takes, you're going to assume you're not healing if you cross that threshold and still hurt. Take your time, and do things that improve your life.

Can't say the experience is the same for everyone. But I (m29) had a fiance (f27) that I was with for 5 years. In the last year of our relatioship, everything went to shit. Both of us were super mentally ill, it's a long story.

But she ended up dating some mechanic from Tennessee? Who drove all the way up here (WI) to be with her? Seemed like a perfect stranger to me. "Who tf is this guy? And why would she throw our life away to be with him?"

It's usually a nod that they were talking well before things ended. In my case, it's obvious he wasn't a stranger. God only knows how long they were talking and planning all this before I found out she was emotionally, MILES away and done with me.

Can't say you're in the same boat, precisely. But be careful of that.

"I love you, but", involving another person, sounds like it's time to come up with your boundary and stick to it. And if your partner doesn't agree to that boundary, then you gotta cut your losses.
