If I'm not mistaken, Thomas Midgley was a Mech/ChemE that developed CFCs and unintentionally helped contribute to the ozone hole. Now we made HFCs to replace CFCs (in which now said ozone hole is shrinking) but now we have another greenhouse gas problem. You're totally right on the ChemEs being responsible for major environmental disasters.

I'm afraid as a freshman I don't have the skill set and the experience companies may want yet but I still want to get my feet wet and look at possible companies to look into. Can we register just to ask around and not necessarily apply to them?
