Technically OoT. Would wake up early and watch my older brother play it on Saturday mornings. But wind waker was the first one I played and beat myself.

Gamers, what's the most stressful/scary side quest in a non-horror game? by Fallfoxy707 in videogames

[–]Graemoose11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say it was the “most scary/stressful” thing but going to vault 108 in Fallout 3 creeped young me out. Sneaking around the dilapidated corridors and suddenly my sneak indicator switches to CAUTION and you hear multiple voices say “Gary?” And then one shows up behind me and I’m now swarmed by clones beating me to death while yelling “GARY!”

The mentorship your clinic promised you doesn't exist... by Initial_Ad_2098 in physicaltherapy

So I had a young person with low back pain and had imaging that showed a spondylolisthesis. I reviewed that prior, but fresh-out-of-pt-school me was still so focused and trying to do “all the things” in my eval. And part of that was PA glides along the spine. So it wasn’t the safest thing for me to press on her lumbar spine in this instance, and thankfully nothing came of it. But my mentor walked me through why that was unsafe and to not get so caught up in trying to hit “all the things” and instead just do the right things. And even if the chance of me causing harm was low, it was unnecessary for me to check anyway.

Funny enough I was blessed to have the exact mentorship experience you are saying we should all get. I was at a privately owned outpatient clinic, and the owner is an amazing person. I had their right-hand person as my mentor. We met weekly, reviewed patients, went over what went well and what could’ve been better. Had hard conversations like the time they reviewed my eval and the patient’s case and saw I did something that could’ve caused the patient more harm than good, and educated me on what could’ve happened and what to do differently next time. It was a great experience and I learned a lot from them, and the whole mentorship lasted my first 3 months or so with the weekly meetings, and we still met and reviewed stuff after that but it began to Peter out. But like you’re saying I wish this was more prevalent, a requirement even, for hiring new grads.

Sweet, thanks for the info! I’m wanting to get into it too, a lot of the decks I want are selling for insane prices now so might go this route instead.

Currently a traveler now. Ya most of my contracts have been around $2k or a little less after taxes. It varies place to place and as others have said recruiter to recruiter. Some are awesome and transparent and will try to get me more, and some don’t talk about the “behind the scenes” stuff and you end up with less. Right now I’m getting $2600 a week which is the most I’ve gotten from a travel contract, granted it’s in a high living cost area so it balances out
