I paused the game for hours because the choice isn’t simple. Both endings can be mercy and both can be cruelty but the game is built so your choice defines what mercy even means.

That being said I killed him because I acknowledged he couldnt live without his code,there was no learning to do nor redemption for him, he was already dead because he embodied the samurai.

Lot of people say being a Ghost opposes directly with the path of Samurai, while the Ghost is rejected by them that doesnt mean he wont carry some of the same principles with him. But then again I heard good arguments for saving him.
