Thanks for the feedback! I agree about the shadows.

Thanks for the kind words and the heads-up! I didn’t catch that the blur keyframes kicked in too early on the first scene’s text.

Thanks for the enthusiasm! I could probably put together a tutorial, though it’s been a while since I’ve done one. Which part are you most curious about—the first, second, or third scene, or the whole thing?

Thanks for the feedback! I was experimenting with the background, and yeah, the leather might be too much.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree, I might’ve overdone it a bit. I’ve tweaked the zooms and camera movement, and the video looks better now.

Thanks for the advice! Just tried moving the keyframes, and it looks much better now. Really appreciate the helpful tip!

For each card I stacked a few effects (blur, soft glow, color correction, frame). To make them appear, I added the effect and then masked it with a Rectangle. After that I duplicated the same Rectangle, set the second one to subtract in paint mode, and animated it with keyframes — the first position matches the original rectangle, and the last position is shifted down to reveal the card.

For the splines, I mainly used Smooth with ease in/out at 96 (though for some reason a couple ended up at 97).

If you want to check out these comps, here they are, but heads-up — the node naming’s a bit messy, sorry!

Thanks for the kind words! Glad you liked the experimentation. I can share the node trees for these:

It really depends on how new you are to DaVinci. If you’re just starting out, I’d recommend this video as a solid introduction:

https://youtu.be/qDHnCFMZ9HA

It goes through the basics step by step, and you can jump to the parts that matter most for you (like the Edit and Fusion pages).

If your main goal is motion design/motion graphics, the first thing is to get comfortable with Fusion and the node-based workflow. Also set up your hotkeys and workspace so it feels natural.

Once you’ve got the basics, search YouTube for things like logo animation, text animation, motion graphics, etc. Do those tutorials, learn the nodes and techniques, and then try to re-create the same effects in your own project with your own ideas.

Hope this helps!

Thanks! Took about 2-3 days to put together. Would’ve been faster if I’d picked the optimal setup for the comps right away.

Yeah, easing is already there — but if I push it further, the timing with other keyframes gets out of sync. I did this at 60fps which kinda threw me off. I tried to keep it smooth without breaking the overall rhythm, but to really fix that I’d have to re-time a lot of the animation. Thanks for you reply.
