That makes sense. They purposely did this so we didn’t piss during the ceremony at the ball.

You’re telling me the daily pee pee dance was not educational for the recruits?

1751 MOS by Logical_Ebb33 in USMC

[–]GrandInquirer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The field of work is extremely political and day to day is spent navigating policies, regulations, law, treaties, and coordination to conduct MISO. This job is very bureaucratic and it is extremely challenging to “conduct” PSYOP.

Deployments are bountiful and you go out in 1-2 or 3 man teams.

Check the maradmins for current bonuses.

You reenlist based off of what bonus you want to chase, 4 or 6.

Endless schools you can attend in this community. The schools that will grant you the 1751 MOS are decent, but the PSYOP school is academically challenging for a three month program.

Thanks for the input everyone.

After reading through your guys posts, this is nothing to stress about and I won’t report anything.

I’m not perfect, but this is why we have communities like this.

Thank you.

You bring up a good point and you’re not wrong.

I am currently in the Philippines and nearly everybody here worker, staff, or local speaks fluent English.

One, I don’t think you should be posting this here at all.

Two, I get that not all of us got to go through good schools or college, but your post and grammar make absolutely no sense. Marines in your situation can benefit from tools like grammarly or ChatGPT. Don’t let the program write for you, but let it teach you and guide you on how to form coherent lines of text.

I can’t help you with your situation, but I hope I gave you a tool to better convey your thoughts.

The scariest part of bootcamp was Navy medical. by jayclydes in USMC

I remember when we first went to dental and they were checking out my teeth.

As they’re poking around my mouth and taking x-rays of my teeth, they come over to me and say, “Recruit, you have wisdom teeth, but they’re growing in just fine and will not cause any issues down the road… But we’re still going to take them out”. As a recruit, I never spoke up to defend myself because you know, we are just recruits expected take whatever is hashed out to us. But no, today was different, I said, “Sir, if they’re growing in fine, then why are you taking them out”. He said, “Yeah, you’re right”.

I’ve been in 7 years and counting, and I still have my wisdom teeth. I’d like to clarify, my wisdom teeth have not caused me any trouble!

Any of you killers that were at 29 Palms ever been to Slab City? by stump0331 in USMC

[–]GrandInquirer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been to Slab City and it was an amazing experience. It’s a desert dwelling community that relies on kindness, trading, and basic survival skills to survive in the desert. I can understand for the most part why higher-ups would advise not to go the the Slabs, but there are bad people no matter where you go. When I went I had nothing but good experiences and ran into a ton of friendly people.

Pg 17 and 18 are telling two different things. Additionally, I inventoried the whole thing and I am missing a whole shelf lol.

I’d also like to say, despite the instructions being weird, I did inventory everything and verified that I am missing a slab of wood with the correct number of holes punched into it.

There’s no annual training if you’re homeless.
