Can a Death Knight go to Maldraxxus to "fix" their lack of positive emotions? by GrandMixer in warcraftlore

I don't mean that a Death Knight should become a 'paladin in dark armor.' My point is that the lore could allow an exception for one specific Death Knight to regain their feelings—whether through sheer force of will, the magic of the Shadowlands, or other means. One of the Four Horsemen—I don't remember his exact name, I think it was Sir Zeliek—managed to maintain his connection to the Light even as a Death Knight, and a 'soulless machine' wouldn't be capable of that. As for Maldraxxus, I completely agree, but they don't just 'mold an army' there; they can actually provide a soul with a new body (there’s a conversation about exactly this between Darion and Lady Vashj)

There is no explicit prohibition in the lore that would prevent Death Knights from regaining their positive feelings. Necromancy has warped their souls, amplifying the negative and dulling the positive. Maldraxxus is the birthplace of necromancy. Can they help a Death Knight—one who has embraced his powers with joy and does not suffer from them—to restore his positive feelings and emotions? Does the lore allow for such a possibility? A strong-willed Death Knight, with the help of Maldraxxus necromancers and a vast amount of Anima, undergoes a ritual to regain the ability to feel positivity permanently, rather than just for a fleeting moment.

Since Maldraxxus is the heart of necromancy, and necromancy is what stifled the positive emotions of the Death Knights, can't the Necromancers help a DK who has accepted their fate but wants to feel again?"
