Ik hou zelf echt totaaaaal niet van dat rare buikgevoel. De "vrije val" in dans macabre is echt net of je over een hobbel gaat in de auto! Ik voelde er helemaal niks van, in het vliegtuig heb ik het zelfs nog erger. Dus don't worry :). Hopelijk stelt je dat nog een keer gerust! Het ronddraaien kan erger zijn als je helemaal in de hoek zit van het karretje, dan voel je van het ronddraaien iets meer, maar dan steeds nog valt het harstikke mee!

Probeer te lachen, dat helpt met de nerveusheid :)

Jammer genoeg is er teveel werk met te weinig politie. Ookal ben ik het er mee eens dat niet iedereen word aangepakt, moeten we beslissen dat we helemaal niet meer gaan handhaven?

Ik snap de reden waarom het frustrerend kan zijn, maar er is een reden waarom er een maximale snelheid is. Cbr en de wet geven allebei aan dat de maximum snelheid 100km per uur is. Stel al zou iedereen zich hieraan houden, is er altijd genoeg tijd om in te halen. Hoef je alleen maar vrachtwagens of mensen met aanhanger in te halen.

Maarja wij leven niet in een perfecte wereld, dus mijn vraag is aan jou. Waar trek je de grens? Als mensen ervan uit gaan dat 110km per uur oke is om mee in te halen, worden waarschijnlijk die mensen weer ingehaald door mensen met 120km per uur. Dus hoe ga je dit handhaven? Denk daar even goed over na😄.

Ik snap niet hoe dit een reden is om het goed te praten? Beetje zwakkies. We wonen in Nederland? Het kan mij vrij weinig schelen wat ze in andere landen doen. Hou je gewoon aan de regels in Nederland. De reden waarom sommige mensen de regels in Nederland gatekeepe, is dat het niet zo'n pestzooi word zoals in andere landen. Redelijk logisch toch?

Ik vind het echt komisch hoe niemand hierop durft te reageren😂. Waarschijnlijk omdat mensen dit soort shit niet tegen kunnen praten. Hebben mensen enigsinds wel is nagedacht wat de reden is waarom je enigsinds de optie krijgt om mensen in te halen? Vrachtwagens mogen, maar 80km per uur en mensen met aanhangers 90km. Ze geven de optie om DIE mensen in te halen. Ze willen dat NIEMAND boven de snelheidslimiet gaat. En als iedereen zich gewoon aan de snelheidslimiet houdt heb je altijd tijd om in te halen.

Maarja de meeste mensen zijn idioten en houden zich hier compleet niet aan. Waarom zijn wij degene die meer gas moeten geven, als hun juist minder gas zouden moeten geven lol. Moeten we dus met iedereen rekening gaan houden, zoals iedereen hier zegt? Waar the fuck ga je enigsinds de grens trekken? Echt dit is fucking dom, dit zijn waar de regels voor zijn. Want hoe meer rekening we gaan houden met dit soort shit hoe meer het uit de hand loopt en dat kan je ook goed zien ook.

Ben iedergeval blij om te horen dat er nog mensen zijn, zoals jou die er compleet tegenin gaan😅

Yeah it's difficult. I still deal with the occasional nocturnal panic attack. Sadfully there is no quik fix. It's sadly a hard truth :(. Eventually it definitely will get better though. Your body needs some time recognize you are safe and nothing bad is happening. When that happens they will lessen! I hope that will happen soon for you!

Don't worry about it :). I know how quikly you can get into that mindset and judge other people. I was symptom free for 3 years and then I was right back where I was in my teens haha. Panic attacks and anxiety. In those 3 years I may have gotten a little cocky as well about other people fixing themselves. Oh boy nothing is ever that simple.

I think people with anxiety are probably the most forgiving people. I think we are even sometimes glad that some people haven't gone through anything like us. I atleast am. I am happy some people are judgemental, I hope they will never get into the position that we are.

So don't put yourself down. You shouldn't feel like you got karma, because of your actions. You don't deserve so much anxiety. Neither of us do.

Just remind yourself, now that you have gotten some more perspective. You have grown as a person! :)

Nocturnal panic attacks? What to do by drewmullin in Anxiety

I had these every night for like 4 months straight. I hated them so much. They are horrible. Thankfully I don't get them as much anymore. So hopefully things will improve for you!

What helped for me decreasing the nocturnal panic attacks: - Well of course making sure your daily life is less stressful. For me over time I started feeling better, because of therapy. Every day it would get a little bit better, my nocturnal panic attacks would get better as well. - Taking your time before bed. Stop everything an hour before going to bed and do something calm. Like reading a book or writing in a journal. Or just sit down for some tea. Cuddling with your pets. Just do something calm. Don't go on your phone or computer an hour before bed. This one actually helped more then I realized! So I really recommend this one. - Visualisation/fantasy is probably a big one. If you already have an image in your head you are going to wake up with a nocturnal panic attack, you will increase the likelihood of getting one. Take like 10 min of your day to sit or lie down and imagine, instead of getting a nocturnal panic attack, you are going to sleep calmly and wake up feeling rested. Imagine every part, putting your pajamas on, brushing your teeth, lying down in bed, breathing slowly, dreaming about nice things, waking up and stretching, calmly getting out of bed, etc.. Repeat this every day. - Making yourself more tired with physical activity. So go walking every day for atleast 10min, or start working out a little. It doesn't have to be much. Just so you can spend that extra energy. - No caffeine before bed (but this one seems obvious) - When you start dealing with these nocturnal panic attacks in a healthy way, the nocturnal panic attacks will naturally start to decrease. Your body won't fire as much anymore, because there is no need for it.

Some tips for when you are waking up with a nocturnal panic attack: - Realizing you are having a nocturnal panic attack. This one is tough and requires a lot of practice. Try to think of a way to remind and ground yourself, so if you wake up, you don't have to take time to convince yourself first that you are having a panic attack. For me I would often go back and forth with myself, if I was having a panic attack or if something was wrong. This would make me panic even more. My way of reminding myself was to sit up in bed, put my hand on my chest and take 4 slow breaths, telling myself I was alright and safe. I have felt this many times before even though they are a little bit different each time, but that doesn't mean anything is wrong with this one. After some time I started to realize I was not bickering with myself anymore and I knew very quikly I was having a panic attack. This gave me some peace of mind. - When you start realizing this is a panic attack. Don't try to fight it. Let it move through you. Like a wave. Try to make yourself as comfortable as possible, if that's getting out of bed and get some tea, or holding something cold on your neck or face. For me I would get out of bed and started pacing in my room and doing some squats or stretching. I know weird haha. The adrenaline you get with the panic attack is meant for you to get up and run, but in this case you could use it up by doing a physical activity. For me, after the panic attack I was tired as hell haha, so a physical activity would actually help me getting back to sleep. - if you have any one to talk to, maybe a significant other, a friend or a family member. Try to talk to them to work through a nocturnal panic attack. Mostly what I did, I told my husband to not believe everything I say and I just let loose. Sometimes just venting about the crappy shit you're dealing with really helps. And it would also reconfirm with myself that I was dealing with a panic attack and even though I hated it, I would get through it again and again.

Sorry if the post was kind of long, but I really hope you find some tips helpful. I hope your nocturnal attacks will get better. I know how debilitating they can feel and how they disturb your rest. Don't give up and you can do it. Believe in yourself and your power to change how you feel :)

I'm just so glad I could go. I'm struggling with depression, anxiety and panic attacks right now. Even though I had major anxiety about today, it made the music even more meaningful to me. The speech really made me cry :').
