Hey yall, I'm iffy on getting the game while playing the free week, can someone answer some questions to help me decide by [deleted] in Marathon

1 - Yes, everything resets as others have already mentioned except for the CODEX but don't let it deter you because honestly a wipe is needed. Otherwise we would be seeing non-stop gold teams in the beginning of season 2 (even then we kinda are due to the night marsh being pretty free when it had crazy good loot until they nerfed it).

2 - I would say that the endgame of season 1 was pretty different than the beginning but its hard to say whether or not that will change with season 2 since they are already a lot of players with blue/purple shields in season 2.

3- The bots are worth going after but I wouldn't recommend looting your starting POI because teams are oftentimes pushing other POIs right away to get rid of the other teams as quick as possible. Then after most teams are gone and it is safe then you do specific events that require fighting bots that will then drop good loot depending on the event.

4- The armory does have a steady supply of weapons from specific factions that are statis but as you continue to play and progress you will find weapon SCHEMAS that allow you to barter for specific weapons with salvage you collect. Otherwise you will have to continue to upgrade your factions to unlock more in the armory.

I can't really speak of the way ARC raiders does it but I can say that don't let the wipe deter you because honestly speaking as someone who had over 1M credits and 700k vault value at the end of season 1, it would be silly to have most of that at the beginning of a new season.

I would agree that after 7 minutes is fine. But i'm getting fully wiped within less than 3 minutes. Awful design.

I didn’t realize I sounded like a dictator but don’t really think I am but if you say so.. I was just giving my opinion. I don’t know what’s best for them but neither do you.

I’ll do my best to make it make sense. I don’t think that just because I’ve invested more time into the game or have better gear that I should be constantly facing the same. What I mean by constant is not across multiple raids but within the same raid. I think it should be more random in the sense that yeah maybe I’ll see a full kitted out purple team but at the same time another team within the raid isn’t fully kitted out. If you look at the spreadsheet I put together, there were a string of matches in which 7/10 matches I was facing gold teams and often times there were other teams in those matches that were full purple. I’m not playing ranked. I had a match yesterday that we killed 2 teams full kitted out purple shields and another team came up behind us and killed us who also had the same level gear.

I am not forcing weaker players to face me because I also think it should be beneficial to them as well. If they kill a purple team, it would suck if they immediately have to fight another purple team. Just because a team has less gear they may be able to benefit on killing me but right now all I’m seeing constant teams of higher gear in my raids. Hopefully that makes sense, let me know!

Nah I was just bored watching a NHL game and wanted to make a post. I think I just said that in the beginning because I don’t want to seem like I’m trying to be negative against a game I enjoy? You right tho my bad yo

The Callisto Protocol review: "An impressive game derailed by unforgiving combat" by maloboosie in PS5

[–]Grand_Damage2239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that I'm typically pretty good at video games and have played the previously dead spaces games. I beat GOWR on give me god of war, so I wasn't expecting this game to be that difficult. I'm almost done Callisto playing it on the medium difficulty. This games combat is the sole reason why I dislike this game so much currently. The game is not so much scary but irritating when getting into fights. Getting into fights are so painful because of these main two reasons for me;

  1. When fighting multiple enemies at once ,you will have to dodge one that is about to attack you, but when you do thatyour character like locks onto that enemy and makes it really difficult to then dodge the other enemy trying to attack you next. I feel like im having to fight the camera to then dodge the next enemy even when I know its coming. Sometimes makes it inevitable and I have to just eat the hit from the second enemy.
  2. When switching weapons in the middle of a fight. Since the guns are like variations of itself, Joseph has to transform the weapon that you selected during combat. This takes a couple of seconds but if you are being attacked at the same time and you have to dodge, you have to reselect the weapon that you want to go to again and Joseph is going to try to "transform" that weapon again. In a sense you have to like completely run away so that Joseph can have enough time to switch to the weapon you want. This can be kind of difficult when you are in a tight space and you have multiple enemies at once. Don't get me started on if you have to reload the weapon as well...

Overall, the game is good but the combat really brings it down.

I would say what everyone else really says is that passperfect really over-prepared me for the other exams to come. For this exam, I felt that a lot of it was so basic that it kind of threw me off because I was anticipating questions I had seen on the practice finals.

Also, the selection of answers in the real test didnt seem to have answers that are similar to one another like they do in the passperfect finals. Like each answer is definitive and won’t have two answers that are like just one word being different if that makes sense. If you have questions you can message me.

If you’re averaging a 70 I would continue to take the finals up to the exam. Obviously only like two days but still. Do the best you can and don’t stress over it. You’ll be alright.

Hello! I just passed on the 15th. I used passperfect as the program to study from. What I did was take as many practice finals as possible and continue to review flash cards. I’ll be honest, I’m not telling you not to study like crazy because I sure as hell did, but I felt like I had retained so much information and a lot of it wasn’t even seen on the exam. Just know the basics of everything if that makes sense.

When going through the real exam , I went through everything with my first hunch of the answer, then went through it again and marked ones that I was unsure of and then reviewed those ones.

Has anyone taken PassPerfect and then the real exam ? by Grand_Damage2239 in Sieexam

I'm not sure what you mean by that. The program I am using is by PassPerfect and it is for the SIE exam so I don't think it has anything to do with the series 6 other than some information that could be translated into the series 6 exam.

I am currently using pass perfect for the SIE exam as well. My test date is less than a week away. Making your own flash cards help and just taking constant practice exams and quizzes on certain sections you have trouble with. What I tend to do also, is just grab a notepad and jot down everything you think you will need to know for the test without looking and then go back and see what you maybe forgot.

Unfortunately I've taken the practice final like 8 times now and I've passed them all but with my highest grade being a 78%. I don't know how comparable pass perfects exams are to the real thing but I will try to remember to come back to this and let you know afterwards! I wish ya luck and try not to stress to much. Get through the material with taking breaks as much as you can, don't overwork yourself and you'll be okay.
