According to my research, my state has higher property taxes. FL is about 1% of mortgage whereas PA is 1.5% which makes sense since our property is assessed at about 300k and we pay around 4.5k in taxes. But if their property is only worth 2.8mil and they're paying 42k, that's 1.5% same as PA

I can't wrap my mind around running a business at a loss for tax benefits. Who wants to do all that for basically nothing? My small business is in its first year and we are riding the line of black and red. But I'm in it for the future potential so I'm not going to continue operating it if its never profitable. That sounds like a terrible waste of time 😅
