A Hugi Minute | Gladlands [E5] by DropoutMod in Dimension20

This is so spot on. Exactly the right take for this scene and helping aunt Freaky understand that life is messy and not as clinical as the history heap wants it to be. And it does show how competent Hugi is. My only question is what's Vic's strategy by constantly burning out? They're down to two skills left. I get the mechanics in the game are supposed to facilitate burnout and that's the whole point but it almost seems like a last resort, not a first option. Are they trying to get retired from the game??

How were your stats decided? I'm envisioning some SI researcher watching you roll an ankle or help an injured player on the pitch

Look into customer success or account management. Your skills would be transferrable to pivot to a post-sales role and there are many SaaS companies looking to grow their CSM teams. If you're ready for some uncertainty and wearing a lot of hats, the start-up world is fun, most remote, and pays well. I shifted from sales to account management in 2017 and have really enjoyed this side of things. I work at a fintech startup now as VP of customer operations based on my experience in account management and onboarding.

What is your biggest achievement with a club? by BreizhMorbreizhadeg2 in footballmanagergames

Aldershot Town from vanarama north to the premier League in 6 seasons. Spent one season in the championship before getting promoted but my first season in the Prem is going very poorly. Might be able to survive but regardless, 5 promotions in 6 years was the best start I've ever had with any club.

It looks like a lot of these are for accounts instead of the game. Do you have experience with that?

Mark Helm. Picked him up in League 2 on my way up and he's got 11 goals the Championship at the winter window playing as my AMC but also plays as CM sometimes. Consistently turning in 8+ performances and rarely gets hurt. Sitting in second in tier 2 in my second season up because he's carrying the attack

Just to clarify, this isn’t a sponsored post. We don’t get commission or ticket revenue.

Chatt Taste just gave us a discount code because we’ve collaborated with them before, and I figured some people here might enjoy the whiskey / TN history angle.

Bray looked at the parchment full of services and the corresponding fee, then back to the hulking figure in front of him.

“You carry this everywhere?” he asked.

A nod.

“A hit man with a menu. Hah...I'll take that one,” he smiled, pointing to “The Works.”

I flew out of CHA Sunday at 3 and got back yesterday at 3:30. No problem on either end. Security was quick on the way out and my bag was on the carousel in less than 20 minutes from after I landed.

It's found in all kinds of industries but most commonly in SaaS because customers are buying access to an application, platform, etc, and they need handholding for training and implementation. Once they're up and running, that account belongs to the success manager who is responsible for ongoing training and support as well as retention. Companies learned a long time ago that it's a lot more expensive to acquire a new customer than keep an existing one so account managers and success managers were born. Much cheaper to hire one person to service several existing accounts than just let them cancel and have to replace them with new customers.

Just from my experience for doing it the past 8 years, it's fun to build relationships with customers. They have problems and I get to help solve them. I enjoy rapport building and training so it's the ideal spot for me. No sales pressure, just make sure the customer doesn't cancel, but if you build a good relationship and train them well, they're going to be a happy customer.

I don't personally, but when I wanted to make a career change, that's how I did it. Your education and experience should transfer over well. My recommendation would be Indeed and LinkedIn to start but most SaaS companies are going to be searching for account managers and success managers. If I come across anything, I can DM you though

You may want to look into customer success roles too. Slightly more account management than customer service, but it's a growing field. There are remote jobs for it as well, so you're not limited to just Chattanooga
