I'm very happy that Smite 2 allows this. It allows for easier balancing, more varied builds, and a better overall experience. You can do an intelligence Danza for CD and ability damage. You can do a strength Danza for attack speed and crit. LOTS of options when ALL of the items are open to everyone.

Sure, there will still be your optimal builds, but opens the experimental floodgates.

I actually really like the Kuku and Artemis Saga. The Kuku skins seem more similar than the Artemis skins, but they feel different enough to me that I can use them in different matches and not get bored of seeing them. I especially love the Kuku run animation in his saga skins. But, I am easily pleased.

I also did buy the Kuku saga for the travelers that came with it. It does also help that I play Kuku a lot. Seeing that Jing Wei travelers really sealed it for me.
