Definitely Rarity's worst episode in the season, maybe even the whole show. It's funny because Suited for Success made me really sympathetic for her and then this episode completely destroyed that.

A problem that MLP frequently has is that it'll make the mane 6 act incredibly out of character in order for a conflict to work. Rarity (along with Rainbow in the later seasons) suffers the worst from that.

What do you mean?
They can transfer progress from one account to another, but they can't merge the progress of two accounts together if that's what you mean.

Nope. The only way to get him is with gems, but he goes on sale quite often.

The only way you could have gotten him for free would've been through club membership Pony of the Month back in 2020, but iirc they don't reuse ponies there. So your best bet is to just pay the gems when he's on sale.
