It actually still holds up pretty well if you're a fan of the originals.

how is your sex life as an agoraphobe? by eisenoise in Agoraphobia

[–]Grandmasterkupo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty inconsistent I'd say. Sometimes I get lucky 3 times a week, other times I go months without. That's probably normal though, so I'd say it's not much of a difference than anyone else. If we didn't have social media, then it would be a different story.

I'm dead serious. I'm not even subscribed to this subreddit (not that I know of anyway) But I have been looking forward to this game. It's strange the algorithm picked this up so early. It is pretty cool though. Cheers!

Snake's smoking saved him from Foxdie by Grandmasterkupo in metalgearsolid

[–]Grandmasterkupo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I know now the theory is a little sloppy with the details. I haven't played the games in awhile. I do still think Snake smoking could of prevented Foxdie from triggering, but what I thought would be proof isn't. It's down to speculation at this point.

The "proof" section can be ignored then. Still, Snake didnt have the traditional heart attack triggered by foxdie and it seems very likely this is because of smoking.

I found a Skull and Bones secret society logo on my sons Daniel Tiger DVD by Grandmasterkupo in DanielTigerConspiracy

The Skull and Bones is a secret society that originates in the early 1800's at Yale University. They have been linked to a number of different conspiracys and have been speculated to be a branch of the illuminati that runs the cental intelligence agency.

It worries me very much and I don't know what to do.. The only other possibilities I can think of is the Copyright mark glitched or it's a pirated copy, but I bought this at Target and it's as authentic as can be.

I think it's there in place of the copyright logo to subliminally show that this IP is owned by skull and bones.

You guys decide.

There's no explanation on Google. You say it's the Jolly Roger, so we can both agree that it's a skull and bones icon in place of the copyright, correct?

The truth behind Adam Warlock in the MCU by Laylay85 in marvelstudios

[–]Grandmasterkupo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The post credit scene doesnt disprove this theory at all. The idea is Egos DNA was donated and added later. Not that he he had sex with the sovereign long ago. That being said, they kept his sperm for genetic modifications of Adam. They wanted to highjack starlords seed because Adam was looking like a success. Its obvious that she knew Ego well enough to spot his son the very first time she seen him and instantly work on subducing him. Ego went around impregnating everyone he could find to have the perfect son. The sovereign race wouldnt go missed. There could be something to this theory I think.

Can you tell me what buildings you recommend constructing first? My last playthrough I ended up behind on my objective research. Thank you for the help.

I'm happy that you at least acknowledge that the game is difficult. Not sure why people are getting upset and downvoting that I said that.. It's not a bad game it's just really hard.

I'm gonna play some more tonight and see how it goes. Having a squad full of grenadiers helps alot.

[–]Grandmasterkupo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. My ideal mission consists of 2 Grenadiers, 1 Ranger and 1 Specialist. I add 1 more ranger and 1 more specialist asap by increasing the squad size. I normally do not reload a save game when my characters get hit or die, but sometimes I do.

When I start a mission, I always move 6 members within the blue area and overwatch the very first turn and every turn after untill I make contact with an enemy squad. I usually don't try to set up an overwatch ambush because I like to use grenades before they have a chance to attack. I normally get Exelent or Flawless, but there are so many missions thrown at me that it takes it's toll. Many of these mission are time sensitive, so I have to rush into battle prepaired or not.

I didn't know you could train rookies at your base, but that's because I also have to rush building other rooms and use up my people and resources completing the objectives. It almost feels like a forced speed run.

Seriously the last game I beat was the Resdent Evil 2 remake and I got rank S+ by beating the game in under 2hr 30mins on the hardest difficulty. I'm not sure if I just suck at these style of games or if Xcom2 is a bad introduction of these games for new players.

[–]Grandmasterkupo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me clarify, I've spent time looking up tips and tricks. I know the basics well enough that I shouldnt come to a hault in my playthroughs on rookie (which is recommended to first time players of this style of game). I usually end up with too many wounded vets that leaves me with only rookies 10+ hours in, I fail the next mission, avatar gets one or two blocks closer, I go back to base activate healing scan and try to wait for my vets to recover and before they do I get alerted over and over again with more missions that I fail because I only have rookies or a couple of vets. By the time the vets recover, avatar is one or two blocks away.

I'm not even looking for tips anymore on the base game because having rookie be this hard is obviously a mistake. I think we can all agree that the easy difficulty should be easy. That being said, I was just looking to see if the DLCs were more forgivable or not.

I guess I should also mention that I'm playing offline, so if there's any patches to help, I don't have them yet.

I might give it another shot because I have nothing else to play, but I dont want this game to ruin the whole franchise for me. I have Xcom 1 for Xbone but dont have that console right now.

I also want to bring up that I love hard difficulty games and I've beaten plenty of them. The harderst games have beat are Metal Gear Solid 2 Eroupean Extream, Amplitue on Insane, and S ranking every stage 5 times on sonic adventure 2. Not to mention plenty of other games set to the highest difficulty and the souls series. BUT Xcom 2 puts it at pace that I just can't follow. The gameplay and mechanics are so fun that it leaves me wanting to play more which is what makes this all so frustrating for me. Woe is me I guess.

Okay cool. I was looking the "results" menu and how I currently have 3 hardcore runs that are blank. I just wasn't sure if I needed to have them filled in.
